Gujar Khan: Gas Pressure Restored in Gujar Khan After Timely Intervention

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — 08 دسمبر 2025) سردیوں کی آمد کے ساتھ ہی گوجرخان شہر اور اس کے گردونواح میں سوئی گیس کا پریشر انتہائی کم — جبکہ کچھ علاقوں میں بالکل ختم — ہونے کی وجہ سے شہری شدید پریشانی کا شکار تھے۔ گھریلو امور خصوصاً کھانا پکانے اور گھروں کو گرم رکھنے میں مشکلات نے عوام کو شدید متاثر کیا اور لوگوں میں بے چینی بڑھ گئی۔

صورتِ حال کا فوری نوٹس لیتے ہوئے سابق وزیراعظم راجہ پرویز اشرف اور راجہ خرم پرویز نے مداخلت کی اور متعلقہ حکام، بالخصوص سلیم خان، کو ہنگامی بنیادوں پر مسئلے کے حل کی ہدایت جاری کی۔ ان احکامات پر عمل کرتے ہوئے محکمہ سوئی گیس نے ٹی بی ایس (ٹاؤن بارڈر اسٹیشن) پر تکنیکی کام شروع کیا تاکہ گیس پریشر کو بحال اور مستحکم کیا جا سکے۔

مرمتی اور نگرانی کے اس عمل کی قیادت عوامی ایکشن کمیٹی کے صدر راجہ قاسم صغیر بھٹی اور صدر کھوکھا بازار مرزا محمود نے اپنی ٹیموں کے ہمراہ کی۔ ان کی مسلسل نگرانی اور کوششوں کے نتیجے میں گوجرخان اور گردونواح کے بیشتر علاقوں میں گیس پریشر اب نمایاں طور پر بہتر ہوچکا ہے۔ ذمہ دار حکام نے یقین دہانی کروائی ہے کہ باقی متاثرہ علاقوں میں بھی آئندہ چند دنوں میں کام جاری رہے گا۔

گوجرخان کے شہریوں نے گیس بحران کے حل اور عوامی مشکلات کے ازالے پر راجہ پرویز اشرف اور راجہ خرم پرویز راجہ کا تہہِ دل سے شکریہ ادا کیا ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com — 08 December 2025) With the arrival of winter, residents of Gujar Khan city and its surrounding localities have been facing severe difficulties due to extremely low — and in some areas, zero — Sui gas pressure. Daily household activities, particularly cooking and heating, had been badly affected, causing widespread frustration among the public.

Taking notice of the situation, former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf and Raja Khurram Pervez intervened and directed Saleem Khan to resolve the gas shortage issue on an urgent basis. Acting upon these instructions, the Sui Gas Department initiated technical work at the TBS (Town Border Station) to restore and stabilise gas pressure.

The repair and monitoring work was overseen by Raja Qasim Sagheer Bhatti, President of the Awami Action Committee, along with Mirza Mehmood, President of Khokha Bazaar, and their respective teams. Due to these efforts, gas pressure across most parts of Gujar Khan and the surrounding areas has now significantly improved. Authorities have assured that work will continue in the remaining affected areas over the coming days.

Residents of Gujar Khan have expressed gratitude to Raja Pervez Ashraf and Khurram Pervez Raja for their timely action and for ensuring the resolution of a problem that had severely impacted daily life during the winter season.
