Gujar Khan: Man Killed in Shooting Near Akbarabad; Police Launch Raids to Arrest Suspects

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 13 اکتوبر 2026): گوجرخان شہر کے نواحی علاقے اکبر آباد کے قریب نامعلوم مسلح افراد کی گاڑی پر فائرنگ سے محمد عمران عرف ثانی جاں بحق ہوگئے۔ پولیس کے مطابق واقعے کی وجہ سابقہ دشمنی بتائی جا رہی ہے، جبکہ ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے چھاپے مارے جا رہے ہیں۔

تھانہ گوجرخان کے سب انسپکٹر محمد مجتبیٰ کی ابتدائی رپورٹ کے مطابق واقعے کی اطلاع ملنے پر پولیس ٹی ایچ کیو ہسپتال گوجرخان پہنچی، جہاں مدعی وسیم ولد محمد صادق موجود تھا۔ وسیم نے اپنے بیان میں بتایا کہ وہ محمد عمران عرف ثانی ولد محمد رمضان، ان کے بیٹے علی اور اپنے دادا علی فریدہ کے ہمراہ گھر جا رہے تھے۔

مدعی کے مطابق رات تقریباً 10 بج کر 15 منٹ پر ان کی گاڑی کے سامنے ایک لوڈر رکشہ اور موٹر سائیکل آگئے، جس کے بعد حسن وغیرہ نامی ملزمان نے ان کی گاڑی پر فائرنگ کردی۔ فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں محمد عمران کو گولی لگی اور وہ زخموں کی تاب نہ لاتے ہوئے جاں بحق ہوگئے۔

پولیس نے واقعے کی اطلاع ملنے پر جائے وقوعہ پر پہنچ کر شواہد اکٹھے کیے اور مدعی کی درخواست پر مقدمہ درج کرلیا۔ پولیس حکام کے مطابق واقعے کی مختلف پہلوؤں سے تفتیش جاری ہے اور نامزد ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے چھاپے مارے جا رہے ہیں۔

واقعے پر مقامی عوامی و سماجی حلقوں نے افسوس اور تشویش کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اعلیٰ حکام سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ واقعے میں ملوث افراد کو جلد گرفتار کرکے قانون کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے اور مقتول کے اہل خانہ کو انصاف فراہم کیا جائے۔

پولیس کی جانب سے تاحال تفتیش میں ہونے والی مزید پیش رفت یا گرفتاریوں کے حوالے سے تفصیلات سامنے نہیں آئی ہیں۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, 13 October 2026)   A man was shot dead after unidentified armed assailants opened fire on a vehicle carrying several people near Akbarabad, in the outskirts of Gujar Khan, police said. The incident is reportedly linked to a previous enmity.

According to the initial report by Sub-Inspector Muhammad Mujtaba of Gujar Khan Police Station, police reached THQ Hospital Gujar Khan after receiving information about the incident, where the complainant, Waseem, son of Muhammad Sadiq, was present.

In his statement, Waseem said he was travelling home with Muhammad Imran, alias Sani, son of Muhammad Ramzan, Imran’s son Ali, and their grandfather, Ali Farida. At approximately 10:15, a loader rickshaw and a motorcycle came in front of their vehicle, allegedly blocking their way.

The complainant alleged that the suspects, identified as Hassan and others, opened fire on their vehicle. Muhammad Imran sustained gunshot wounds and later succumbed to his injuries.

The preliminary account identified previous enmity as the suspected motive behind the attack. However, the circumstances surrounding the shooting and the exact role of the alleged suspects remain subject to police investigation.

According to local media reports, Gujar Khan police reached the scene after being informed of the incident and collected evidence. A case was registered on the complainant’s application, and further investigation is underway.

Police said raids were being conducted to arrest the suspects. No further details regarding arrests were immediately available.

The incident has sparked concern among local residents. Members of the public and social circles strongly condemned the killing and urged senior authorities to ensure a prompt investigation and bring those responsible to justice. Police have yet to announce further findings as the investigation continues.
