لیبیا /کلر سیداں (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی | 17مئی 2026)—لیبیا کشتی حادثے میں ملوث باپ بیٹے کو عدالت نے سزا سنا دی۔فیصلہ ایف آئی اے کی خصوصی عدالت کے جج نے سنایا، ملزمان کو22، 22 سال قید اور 14، 14 لاکھ روپے جرمانے کی سزا سنائی گئی ہے۔پراسیکیوشن کی جانب سے عدالت میں کہا گیا کہ انسانی اسمگلرز نے دو بھائیوں کو اٹلی بھجوانے کے عوض 62 لاکھ روپے لیے،دونوں بھائی کشتی الٹنے سے جاں بحق ہو گئے تھے۔کشتی حادثہ جون 2023 میں پیش آیا تھا جس کے بعد ورثا نے تھانہ ایف آئی اے گوجرانوالہ میں مقدمہ درج کروایا تھا۔واضح رہے کہ لیبیا میں 5 فروری 2023 کو تارکینِ وطن کی کشتی کو حادثہ پیش آیا تھا جس کے نتیجے میں 16 پاکستانیوں کی ہلاکت ہوئی تھی۔
Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com — Ikram Ul Haq Qureshi | May 17, 2026) / Libya — A special court of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has sentenced a father and son involved in a Libyan boat tragedy and human smuggling case.
The judgment was announced by the judge of the FIA special court, awarding both convicts 22 years of imprisonment each, along with a fine of Rs1.4 million each.
According to the prosecution, the human smugglers had taken Rs6.2 million from two brothers in exchange for sending them to Italy. However, the migrant boat capsized during the journey, resulting in the death of both brothers.
The tragic incident occurred in June 2023, after which the heirs registered a case at the FIA Police Station in Gujranwala.
It is worth mentioning that on February 5, 2023, a migrant boat accident took place off the coast of Libya, in which 16 Pakistani nationals lost their lives in the ill-fated attempt to reach Europe.
