Kahuta: Punjab Food Authority Cracks Down in Kahuta bazaar’s

کہوٹہ (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — عمران ضمیر | 21 نومبر 2025)پنجاب فوڈ اتھارٹی کی ٹیم نے کہوٹہ بازار میں جامع مسجد روڈ پر کارروائی کرتے ہوئے ناقص اور ممنوعہ دودھ فروخت کرنے پر محسن ملک شاپ، مدینہ شاپ اور پاکیزہ ملک شاپ کو سیل کر دیا۔ کارروائی کے دوران حاصل کیے گئے دودھ کے نمونوں میں مضرِ صحت اجزا کی موجودگی ثابت ہوئی جس پر پولیس تھانہ کہوٹہ نے فوڈ سیفٹی آفیسر کی درخواست پر تینوں دکانوں کے مالکان کے خلاف پنجاب فوڈ اتھارٹی ایکٹ کے تحت الگ الگ مقدمات درج کر لیے۔

فوڈ سیفٹی آفیسر کے مطابق دکانداروں کو کئی مرتبہ ہدایات جاری کی جا چکی تھیں کہ ممنوعہ اور غیر معیاری دودھ کی فروخت فوراً بند کی جائے، تاہم خلاف ورزی کا سلسلہ برقرار رہا، جس کے باعث کارروائی ناگزیر ہو گئی۔

شہریوں نے پنجاب فوڈ اتھارٹی کی اس کارروائی کو سراہتے ہوئے مطالبہ کیا کہ عوام صحت کے تحفظ کے لیے اس قسم کی کارروائیاں مستقل بنیادوں پر جاری رکھی جائیں اور قوانین کی خلاف ورزی کرنے والوں کے خلاف سخت کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے۔

The Punjab Food Authority conducted an operation in Kahuta Bazaar on Jamia Masjid Road, sealing three shops—Mohsin Milk Shop, Madina Shop, and Pakeeza Milk Shop—after they were found selling banned and substandard milk. Samples collected from the site revealed the presence of harmful substances. Based on the food safety officer’s request, Kahuta Police registered separate cases against the owners of all three shops under the Punjab Food Authority Act.

According to the Food Safety Officer, the shopkeepers had been repeatedly warned to stop selling prohibited and low-quality milk, but the violations continued, making the action unavoidable.

Residents appreciated the efforts of the Punjab Food Authority and urged that such inspections be carried out regularly to protect public health, and that strict action be taken against those who violate food safety regulations.
