Gujar Khan: Terror in Karsal: Notorious Criminal Owais Ali Injures Elderly Man in Firing

کرسال اور گردونواح میں دہشت کی علامت بنے ریکارڈ یافتہ ملزم محمد اویس علی ولد محمد ولائیت خان نے گزشتہ روز مبینہ طور پر اسلحہ کے زور پر زمین پر قبضے کی کوشش کی اور فائرنگ کر کے ایک بزرگ شہری کو زخمی کر دیا۔ واقعہ کے بعد علاقے میں شدید خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا ہے جبکہ پولیس کی خاموشی نے عوامی تشویش میں مزید اضافہ کر دیا ہے۔

ذرائع کے مطابق ملزم اویس علی، ساکن کرسال (ڈاک خانہ میانہ سہتال، تھانہ جاتلی، ضلع راولپنڈی) کے خلاف مختلف اضلاع میں متعدد سنگین مقدمات درج ہیں، جن میں شامل ہیں:

• تھانہ گوجرخان ضلع راولپنڈی بجرم 285، 286 (ایف آئی آر نمبر 183/18)

• تھانہ سوہاوہ ضلع جہلم بجرم 401 (ایف آئی آر نمبر 206/20)

• تھانہ سوہاوہ ضلع جہلم بجرم 379/411 (ایف آئی آر نمبرز 192، 50، 195، 205/20)

• تھانہ جاتلی ضلع راولپنڈی بجرم 506(i)، 337H(2)، 34 (ایف آئی آر نمبر 103/24)

• تھانہ جاتلی ضلع راولپنڈی بجرم 355، 342، 147، 149، 382 (ایف آئی آر نمبر 216/24)

ذرائع کے مطابق 29 اکتوبر کو ملزم اویس علی بھاری اسلحہ سے لیس ہو کر ملکیتی اراضی پر قبضے کے لیے پہنچا اور وہاں موجود مالکان کو جان سے مارنے کی دھمکیاں دیں۔ فائرنگ کے نتیجے میں مدعی زاہد کے چچا ٹانگ پر گولی لگنے سے شدید زخمی ہو گئے۔

مدعی زاہد اور ان کے چچا نے پریس کلب سوہاوہ میں اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ تمام شواہد موجود ہونے کے باوجود تھانہ جاتلی پولیس نے نہ تو ایف آئی آر درج کی اور نہ ہی ملزم کو گرفتار کیا، جس سے علاقے میں شدید خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا ہے۔

اہلِ علاقہ نے وزیرِ اعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز، آئی جی پنجاب، ایڈیشنل آئی جی، ڈی ایس پی اور سی سی پی او گوجرخان سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ ملزم اویس علی کے خلاف فوری قانونی کارروائی کی جائے تاکہ مزید جانی نقصان سے قبل امن و امان بحال ہو سکے۔

علاقہ مکینوں نے خبردار کیا کہ اگر پولیس نے مزید تاخیر کی تو عوام خود احتجاج پر مجبور ہو جائیں گے۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ “یہ شخص پورے علاقے میں دہشت کی علامت بن چکا ہے، پولیس فوری کارروائی کرے تاکہ عوام کا اعتماد بحال ہو۔”

In Karsal and surrounding areas, a notorious criminal, Muhammad Owais Ali, son of Muhammad Walayat Khan, allegedly attempted to occupy land at gunpoint and opened fire, injuring an elderly man. The incident has spread fear and panic throughout the area, while police inaction has intensified public anxiety.

According to sources, Owais Ali — a resident of Karsal (Post Office Miana Sehtal, Police Station Jatli, District Rawalpindi) — has multiple criminal cases registered against him across various districts, including:

• PS Gujar Khan, District Rawalpindi — Sections 285, 286 (FIR No. 183/18)

• PS Sohawa, District Jhelum — Section 401 (FIR No. 206/20)

• PS Sohawa, District Jhelum — Sections 379/411 (FIR Nos. 192, 50, 195, 205/20)

• PS Jatli, District Rawalpindi — Sections 506(i), 337H(2), 34 (FIR No. 103/24)

• PS Jatli, District Rawalpindi — Sections 355, 342, 147, 149, 382 (FIR No. 216/24)

Sources added that on October 29, the accused arrived with heavy weapons to seize ownership land and threatened the landowners with death. During the firing, the complainant Zahid’s uncle sustained a bullet wound to his leg and was seriously injured.

Despite clear evidence, Zahid and his uncle stated at Sohawa Press Club that the Jatli Police have neither registered an FIR nor arrested the suspect, leading to widespread fear among locals.

The residents have appealed to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, IG Punjab, Additional IG, DSP, and CCPO Gujar Khan to take immediate legal action against Owais Ali to restore peace before further casualties occur.

Locals warned that if police continue to delay action, they will be forced to stage protests. “This man has become a symbol of terror in the area,” they said, urging authorities to act swiftly to restore public confidence and peace.
