Kahuta: Court Sentences Murder Convict Shahid Azad to Life Imprisonment and Rs. 600,000 Fine

معزز عدالت نے قتل کے کیس کا فیصلہ سنا دیا،ملزم شاہد آزاد کو عمر قید اور 6لاکھ جرمانے کی سزا سنا دی،مدعی پارٹی کی طرف سے معروف قانون دان عقیل حیدری ایڈووکیٹ پیش ہوئے اور موثر دلائل دیے جس پر سیشن جج کہوٹہ نے قتل کے ملزم شاہد آزاد کو عمر قید اور 6لاکھ جرمانے کی سزا سنا دی، انصاف ملنے پر مدعی پارٹی کی طرف سے معزز عدالت اورمعروف قانون دان عقیل حیدری ایڈووکیٹ کا شکریہ ادا کیا، تفصیل کے مطابق گذشتہ روز قبل سیشن جج کہوٹہ نے 302کے کیس مقدمہ نمبر182/16جس میں ملزم شاہد آزاد نے 9سال قبل پسٹل سے فاہر کر کے مسماۃ زیب انساء زوجہ شفاقت علی سکنہ بٹالہ کو قتل کر دیا تھا اور موقع واردات سے بھاگ گیا تھا، پولیس تھانہ کہوٹہ مقدمہ در ج کر لیا تھا بعد ازاں تقریبا7سال کے بعد ملزم گرفتار ہو گیا تھا گذشتہ روز قبل معزز عدالت نے کیس کا فیصلہ سنایا جس کے تحت ملزم شاہد آزاد کو عمر قید اور 6لاکھ جرمانے کی سزا سنا دی،انصاف ملنے پر مدعی پارٹی کی طرف سے معزز عدالت اورمعروف قانون دان عقیل حیدری ایڈووکیٹ کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔

The honourable court has announced its verdict in a long-pending murder case, sentencing the accused, Shahid Azad, to life imprisonment along with a fine of Rs. 600,000. Renowned lawyer Aqeel Haidri Advocate represented the complainant and presented effective arguments, upon which the Additional Sessions Judge Kahuta delivered the judgment.

According to details, the case pertained to FIR No. 182/16 under Section 302, in which the accused, Shahid Azad, had shot and killed a woman named Zaib Insa, wife of Shafqat Ali, a resident of Batala, about nine years ago. After committing the crime, the accused fled the scene. The Kahuta Police registered the case and, after nearly seven years, arrested the accused.

Yesterday, the honourable court pronounced the final decision, sentencing Shahid Azad to life imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 600,000. The complainant’s party expressed gratitude to the honourable court and their legal counsel, Advocate Aqeel Haidri, for ensuring justice was served.
