Choa Khalsa; Muhammadiya Lajpal Club Sahot Kalyal Wins Tent Pegging Competition

چوا خالصہ (چوہدری الفت، ویڈیو رپورٹر — پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم | 05 اکتوبر، 2025) — بابا بہادر شاہ قلندر کے سالانہ میلے کے سلسلے میں ڈیرہ چوہدری مظہر حسین (ناروے) پر ایک رنگا رنگ نیزہ بازی کا مقابلہ منعقد کیا گیا۔

پرُجوش مقابلوں میں محمدیہ لجپال نیزہ باز کلب سہوٹ کلیال نے شاندار کارکردگی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے پہلی پوزیشن حاصل کی۔ ان کی جیت پر حاضرین نے زبردست تالیاں بجا کر خوشی کا اظہار کیا۔

فاتحین کے اعلان کے بعد دوستوں اور ساتھیوں نے روایتی رقص سَمی، جھومر اور بھنگڑا ڈال کر جشن منایا، جس سے محفل کی رونق دوبالا ہو گئی۔

یہ تقریب نہ صرف مقامی برادری کے گھڑ سواری کے روایتی کھیل سے لگاؤ کو اجاگر کرتی ہے بلکہ اس امر کی بھی عکاسی کرتی ہے کہ بیرون ملک مقیم پاکستانی اپنی ثقافتی اقدار اور روایات کو زندہ رکھنے میں گہری دلچسپی رکھتے ہیں۔

In the spirited contests, the Muhammadiya Lajpal Tent Pegging Club of Sahot Kalyal emerged victorious, securing the top position. Their remarkable performance was met with enthusiastic applause from the crowd.

Following the announcement of the winners, friends and supporters celebrated the victory with traditional dances including Sami, Jhumar, and Bhangra, adding colour and festivity to the occasion.

The event highlighted not only the passion for traditional equestrian sports within the community but also the strong cultural ties maintained by the diaspora in celebrating their heritage.
