Kahuta: Dangerous Pothole on Bhoun Road Causes Daily Accidents – Highway Department Unresponsive

بھون روڈ سڑک کے درمیان گڑھابن گیا آئے روز حادثات معمول بن گے،کئی موٹر سائیکل سوار گر کر زخمی ہو چکے ہیں محکمہ ہائی کہوٹہ کا عملہ ستو پی کر سو گیاکو ئی بھی پوچھنے والا نہیں، تفصیل کے مطابق آڑی سیداں سے دکھالی روڈ جو براستہ بھون،لونہ سے گزرتی ہے جو 2013میں مسلم لیگ ن کے دور میں تعمیر کی گی تھی، حالیہ بارشوں کی وجہ سے بھون اعوان گاؤں کے نزدیک پانی والی ٹینکی کے پاس سڑک کے درمیان ایک بہت برا گہرا گڑھابن گیاجس کی وجہ سے گاڑیوں والوں بلخصوص موٹر سائیکل سواروں کو بہت ہی شدید مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑھ رہا ہے رات کو سفر کرتے اکثر موٹر سائیکل والے اس گڑھے کی وجہ سے گر زخمی ہو چکے ہیں جبکہ زمہ دار محکمہ ہائی وئے کہوٹہ ستو پی کر سو گیا ہے کوئی بھی اس طرف توجہ نہیں دے رہا بس آفس آتے ہیں اے سی اور پنکھے لگا کر ٹائم گزارتے ہیں اور مہینے کے بعد مزے کے ساتھ تنخواہ وصول کرتے ہیں عوام کے ان مسائل کی طرف کوئی بھی توجہ نہیں دے رہا ہے عوام علاقہ نے متعلقہ محکمیں کے اعلیٰ حکا م سے نوٹس لینے کی اپیل کی ہے۔

A large pothole in the middle of Bhoun Road has turned into a serious hazard, causing frequent accidents, especially involving motorcyclists. Several riders have already sustained injuries after falling into the deep hole. The affected section lies near the water tank close to Bhoun Awan village, on the road connecting Ari Syedan to Dukhali via Bhoun and Lona.

This road, originally constructed in 2013 during the PML-N government, has deteriorated due to recent rains, leading to the formation of this dangerous crater. Despite repeated accidents, the Kahuta Highway Department remains indifferent. Locals report that the department’s staff are neglecting their duties, merely showing up at the office to enjoy air conditioning and collect their salaries at the end of the month.

Residents of the area have expressed frustration over the lack of action and have appealed to higher authorities in the relevant department to take urgent notice and ensure immediate repairs to prevent further injuries and potential fatalities.
