Gujar Khan: “Punjab University Campus in Gujar Khan allocated Rs. 2 billion for development”

گوجر خان: (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 26 مارچ 2023)— گوجرخان میں پنجاب یونیورسٹی کا کیمپس بنانے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہیجس پر ابتدائی طور پروفاقی حکومت نے دو ہزار ملین روپے پی ایس ڈی پی سے مختص کئے ہیں۔سپیکر قومی اسمبلی راجہ پرویز اشرف کی کوششوں سے کیمپس کیلئے اراضی کا حصول جاری ہے۔

ذرائع کے مطابق یونیورسٹی کیمپس کیلئے گوجرخان کے موضع ہچری کلیال اور ہچری بنگیال میں819کنال 15مرلہ اراضی کی کوششیں کی جارہی ہیں۔جو 1994-1996میں ڈویژنل پبلک سکول اینڈ کالج بنانے کیلئے ایکوائر کی گئی تھی۔

اراضی کا انتقال ضلع کونسل راولپنڈی کے نام ہیتاہم اراضی تاحال خالی پڑی ہے جس کی کنکریٹ باونڈری وال بنی ہوئی ہے۔ڈپٹی کمشنر راولپنڈی کو اراضی ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن کے نام منتقل کرنے کیلئے مراسلہ بھجوایا گیا ہیجس کی کاپی فیڈرل سیکرٹری پلاننگ ڈویلپمنٹ کے علاوہ چیئر مین ہائر ایجوکیشن کمیشن اور وائس چانسلر پنجاب یونیورسٹی کو بھی بھجوائی گئی ہے۔

Gujar Khan: (Pothwar.com, March 26, 2023)-The provincial government has allocated Rs. 2 billion from PSDP for the construction of Punjab University campus in Gujar Khan. According to sources, efforts are underway to acquire land for the campus, with the help of National Assembly Speaker Raja Pervaiz Ashraf.

It is reported that the university is striving to acquire 819 kanals and 15 marlas of land in Hichri Kalyal and Hichri Bangyal areas of Gujar Khan, which were previously acquired for the construction of Divisional Public School and College between 1994-1996.

The land has been transferred to Rawalpindi District Council’s name, and it is currently vacant with a concrete boundary wall. A letter has been sent to the Deputy Commissioner Rawalpindi to transfer the land to Higher Education Commission, with copies sent to Federal Secretary Planning and Development, Chairman Higher Education Commission and Vice Chancellor Punjab University.

The efforts to acquire land for the campus are underway, and the project is expected to significantly benefit the education sector in Gujar Khan.
