Rawalpindi; OGRA Announces Increase in LPG Prices, Domestic Cylinder

راولپنڈی (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |02نومبر 2026)—آئل اینڈ گیس ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (اوگرا) نے ایل پی جی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا۔ہفتہ کو جاری نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق گھریلو سلنڈر کی قیمت میں فی کلوگرام 14 روپے 73 پیسے کا اضافہ کیا گیا ہے۔ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق ایل پی جی کے گھریلو سلنڈر میں 173 روپے 86 پیسے اضافے کے بعد 11.8 کلوگرام کے ایل پی جی سلنڈر کی نئی قیمت 3 ہزار 470 روپے 9 پیسے مقرر کی گئی ہے۔

ایل پی جی کی نئی قیمتوں کا اطلاق یکم نومبر 2026 سے ہوگا۔ ترجمان اوگرا نے کہا ہے کہ ایل پی جی پروڈیوسر کی قیمت سعودی آرامکو-سی پی اور امریکی ڈالر کے ایکسچینج ریٹ سے منسلک ہے، گزشتہ ماہ کے مقابلے میں سعودی آرامکو-سی پی میں 6.47 فیصد اضافہ ہوا جبکہ اوسط ڈالر ایکسچینج ریٹ میں 0.12 فیصد معمولی کمی ریکارڈ کی گئی، جس کے نتیجے میں ایل پی جی صارفین کی قیمتوں میں 11.8 کلو گرام سلنڈر پر 173 روپے 86 پیسے (5.27 فیصد) اضافہ ہوا ہے۔

Rawalpindi (Pothwar.com – Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, November 02, 2026): The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has issued a notification announcing an increase in Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) prices.

According to the notification issued on Saturday, the price of LPG has been increased by Rs14.73 per kilogram. The price of an 11.8-kilogram domestic LPG cylinder has gone up by Rs173.86, bringing its new price to Rs3,470.09.

The revised LPG prices will come into effect from November 1, 2026.

An OGRA spokesperson explained that LPG producer prices are linked to Saudi Aramco’s Contract Price (CP) and the US dollar exchange rate.

Compared to the previous month, Saudi Aramco’s CP increased by 6.47 percent, while the average US dollar exchange rate recorded a slight decline of 0.12 percent.

As a result, the consumer price of LPG has increased by Rs173.86 per 11.8-kilogram domestic cylinder, representing an overall rise of 5.27 percent.

The increase is expected to add to household fuel expenses from the beginning of November.
