Gujar Khan: Road Rehabilitation Work Continues on Daultala-Gujar Khan Road

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 07 اکتوبر 2026): دولتالہ گوجرخان روڈ پر تعمیر و بحالی کا کام جاری ہے، جبکہ موہڑہ ملکاں سے کرنب بلوچ تک سڑک کا پرانا کارپٹ اکھاڑ دیا گیا ہے۔ سڑک کی تعمیر کے جاری کام کے دوران خوش آئند امر یہ ہے کہ اکھاڑی گئی سڑک کا ملبہ فوری طور پر اٹھایا جا رہا ہے اور راستے کو ہموار کیا جا رہا ہے، جس سے ٹریفک کی روانی برقرار رکھنے میں مدد مل رہی ہے۔

ذرائع کے مطابق سڑک پر روزانہ پانی کا چھڑکاؤ بھی کیا جا رہا ہے تاکہ گرد و غبار میں کمی آئے اور سفر کرنے والے شہریوں، مقامی آبادی اور سڑک کے اطراف کاروبار کرنے والے افراد کو کم سے کم مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑے۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ اگلے دو سے تین ہفتوں کے دوران سکھو سے سڑک کے کارپٹ کا کام شروع ہونے کا امکان ہے۔ کارپٹ کا کام مکمل ہونے کے بعد سڑک کی حالت میں نمایاں بہتری آنے اور شہریوں کو سفر کی بہتر سہولت میسر آنے کی توقع ہے۔

دوسری جانب سڑک کے شولڈرز کی تعمیر اور بہتری کے لیے بھی پراسس شروع کر دیا گیا ہے، جس کے مثبت نتائج آئندہ چند ہفتوں میں سامنے آنے کی توقع ہے۔ شولڈرز کی تعمیر سے سڑک کے کناروں کو مضبوط بنانے کے ساتھ ساتھ سفر کو مزید محفوظ بنانے میں مدد ملے گی۔

مقامی شہریوں اور مسافروں نے جاری ترقیاتی کام کو خوش آئند قرار دیتے ہوئے امید ظاہر کی ہے کہ منصوبہ مقررہ مدت میں مکمل کیا جائے گا اور تعمیراتی کام میں معیار کو بھی یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔

According to local sources, the existing road surface along the section from Mohra Malkan near Karnab بلوچ has already been removed as part of the ongoing rehabilitation work. However, the timely removal of the dismantled road material has provided relief to motorists and local residents, as the debris is reportedly being cleared promptly and the route is being levelled to maintain smoother traffic flow.

Another positive development is the regular sprinkling of water on the road. Water is reportedly being sprayed daily to control dust and reduce inconvenience for commuters, residents and businesses located along the route.

According to sources familiar with the project, carpet work on the road is expected to begin from Sukho within the next two to three weeks. The carpeting phase is expected to significantly improve the condition of the road and provide a smoother and safer travelling surface for motorists.

Meanwhile, the process for construction and improvement of the road shoulders has also been initiated. The development is expected to improve the overall condition and safety of the road, particularly by providing better support along the edges of the newly constructed surface.
