Rawat Police Arrest Domestic Worker and Accomplice in Major House Theft Case

راولپنڈی/روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام – اکرام الحق قریشی | 21 جون 2026) — تھانہ روات پولیس نے ایک اہم کارروائی کرتے ہوئے پانچ روز قبل ایک خاتون کے گھر میں ہونے والی چوری کی واردات میں ملوث گھریلو ملازمہ اور اس کے بھائی کو گرفتار کر لیا۔ پولیس نے ملزمان کے قبضے سے 26 لاکھ روپے سے زائد مالیت کی ملکی و غیر ملکی کرنسی، طلائی زیورات، قیمتی بیگز، گھڑیاں اور دیگر سامان برآمد کر لیا ہے۔

پولیس کے مطابق گرفتار ہونے والی گھریلو ملازمہ نے اپنے آجر کے اہل خانہ کی غیر موجودگی کا فائدہ اٹھاتے ہوئے گھر سے نقدی، زیورات اور دیگر قیمتی اشیاء چوری کیں اور واردات کے بعد اپنے بھائی کے ساتھ فرار ہو گئی۔ واقعے کی اطلاع ملنے پر تھانہ روات پولیس نے مقدمہ درج کرکے ملزمان کی گرفتاری کے لیے تحقیقات کا آغاز کیا۔

پولیس نے جدید ٹیکنیکل ذرائع اور ہیومن انٹیلی جنس کی مدد سے ملزمان کا سراغ لگایا اور کامیاب کارروائی کرتے ہوئے بہن بھائی کو گرفتار کر لیا۔ دوران تفتیش ملزمان کی نشاندہی پر چوری شدہ مال کا بڑا حصہ بھی برآمد کر لیا گیا۔

برآمد ہونے والے سامان میں ڈیڑھ تولہ طلائی زیورات، 5 لاکھ 3 ہزار روپے نقدی، 1400 سعودی ریال، 125 آذربائیجانی منات اور 105 امریکی ڈالر شامل ہیں۔ اس کے علاوہ 9 لاکھ روپے سے زائد مالیت کے قیمتی بیگز، گھڑیاں اور دیگر گھریلو اشیاء بھی ملزمان سے برآمد کی گئی ہیں۔

ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے پولیس ٹیم کی کارکردگی کو سراہتے ہوئے کہا کہ ملزمان کو مؤثر انٹیلی جنس ورک اور جدید تفتیشی تکنیکوں کی مدد سے گرفتار کیا گیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ ملزمان کے خلاف ٹھوس شواہد اکٹھے کر لیے گئے ہیں اور انہیں مکمل چالان کے ساتھ عدالت میں پیش کیا جائے گا تاکہ قانون کے مطابق کارروائی عمل میں لائی جا سکے۔

ایس پی صدر نے شہریوں سے اپیل کی کہ وہ گھریلو ملازمین کی باقاعدہ رجسٹریشن اور تصدیق کو یقینی بنائیں تاکہ اس نوعیت کے واقعات کی روک تھام ممکن ہو سکے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ گھریلو ملازمین کا مکمل ریکارڈ رکھنا نہ صرف جرائم کی روک تھام میں مددگار ثابت ہوتا ہے بلکہ تفتیشی عمل کو بھی مؤثر بناتا ہے۔

روات پولیس نے اس عزم کا اعادہ کیا ہے کہ شہریوں کے جان و مال کے تحفظ کے لیے ہر ممکن اقدامات جاری رکھے جائیں گے اور جرائم پیشہ عناصر کے خلاف بلاامتیاز کارروائی عمل میں لائی جاتی رہے گی۔

Rawalpind/Rawat (Pothwar.com – Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | June 21, 2026) — In a significant breakthrough, Rawat Police have arrested a domestic worker and her accomplice, identified as her brother, for their involvement in a major house theft that occurred five days ago. The police recovered stolen cash, foreign currencies, gold jewellery, luxury bags, watches, and other valuables worth more than Rs 2.6 million from the suspects.

According to police officials, the female domestic worker took advantage of the absence of the homeowners and carried out the theft from her employer’s residence before fleeing the scene along with her brother. Following the incident, Rawat Police launched an intensive investigation using both technical surveillance and human intelligence sources to trace the suspects.

The operation resulted in the successful arrest of the brother-sister duo and the recovery of a substantial portion of the stolen property. Recovered items include one and a half tolas of gold jewellery, cash amounting to Rs 503,000, 1,400 Saudi Riyals, 125 Azerbaijani Manats, and 105 US Dollars. Police also recovered luxury handbags, watches, and other valuables collectively valued at more than Rs 900,000.

SP Saddar Anam Sher praised the investigative team for their professional efforts, stating that the suspects were apprehended through effective intelligence gathering and modern investigative techniques. She further stated that the accused would be presented before the court with solid evidence and a complete challan to ensure legal proceedings are carried out in accordance with the law.

The police officer urged citizens to ensure the proper registration and verification of domestic workers to avoid such incidents and enhance household security. She emphasised that maintaining records of domestic employees can play a crucial role in preventing crime and assisting law enforcement agencies in investigations when required.

Rawat Police reiterated their commitment to protecting citizens’ lives and property and assured the public that strict action would continue against individuals involved in criminal activities.
