Kahuta: Security Tightened in Kahuta Amid AJK Situation
آزاد کشمیر کی صورتحال کے پیش نظر کہوٹہ میں سکیورٹی سخت
کہوٹہ: (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، عمران ضمیر، 13 جون 2026) — آزاد کشمیر کی موجودہ کشیدہ صورتحال کے پیش نظر راولپنڈی پولیس نے تحصیل کہوٹہ میں سکیورٹی انتہائی سخت اور فول پروف بنا دی ہے۔
ایس پی صدر راولپنڈی انعم شیر نے آزاد کشمیر سے ملحقہ پنجاب کے سرحدی علاقوں کا ہنگامی دورہ کیا اور سکیورٹی انتظامات کا تفصیلی جائزہ لیا۔ اس دوران انہوں نے بیور چیک پوسٹ اور آزاد پتن سمیت اہم مقامات کا معائنہ کیا۔
دورے کے موقع پر ایس پی صدر نے ڈی ایس پی کہوٹہ وقار عظیم اور ایس ایچ او کہوٹہ ندیم الطاف کے ہمراہ پولیس نفری کی موجودگی، گشت کے نظام اور داخلی و خارجی راستوں پر چیکنگ کا جائزہ لیا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پولیس اہلکاروں کے مورال کو بلند کرنا اور سکیورٹی اقدامات کو مزید مؤثر بنانا اس دورے کا بنیادی مقصد ہے۔
ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے کہا کہ پولیس کی اولین ترجیح شہریوں کی جان و مال کا تحفظ اور علاقے میں مکمل امن و امان کا قیام ہے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ کسی بھی شرپسند عنصر کو امن خراب کرنے کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی، جبکہ تمام داخلی و خارجی راستوں پر سخت نگرانی جاری ہے۔
انہوں نے پولیس اہلکاروں کو ہدایت کی کہ کسی بھی مشکوک شخص یا گاڑی کو مکمل تلاشی کے بغیر داخل نہ ہونے دیا جائے اور ڈیوٹی میں غفلت ہرگز برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔
بعد ازاں کہوٹہ پولیس نے سکیورٹی پلان مزید سخت کرتے ہوئے اضافی نفری تعینات کر دی اور گشت کے نظام کو جدید خطوط پر استوار کر دیا۔ حساس مقامات اور سرحدی راستوں پر چیکنگ کا عمل دن رات جاری ہے۔
ایس پی صدر نے شہریوں سے اپیل کی کہ وہ مشکوک سرگرمیوں کی فوری اطلاع قریبی پولیس اسٹیشن کو دیں تاکہ سماج دشمن عناصر کے عزائم ناکام بنائے جا سکیں۔
مزید برآں محرم الحرام کے دوران امن و امان کی صورتحال برقرار رکھنے کے حوالے سے ایک اہم اجلاس بھی منعقد ہوا جس کی صدارت ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے کی۔ اجلاس میں ڈی ایس پی کہوٹہ، ایس ایچ او کہوٹہ، امن کمیٹی کے اراکین، علمائے کرام اور تاجر رہنماؤں نے شرکت کی۔
اجلاس میں فیصلہ کیا گیا کہ تمام جلوس اور مجالس مقررہ وقت اور طے شدہ راستوں کے مطابق ہوں گے جبکہ حکومت کے ضابطہ اخلاق پر مکمل عملدرآمد یقینی بنایا جائے گا۔
Kahuta: (Pothwar.com Correspondent, Imran Zamir, June 13, 2026) — In view of the current tense situation in Azad Kashmir, Rawalpindi Police has tightened and strengthened security across Tehsil Kahuta, making it fully foolproof.
SP Saddar Rawalpindi, Anam Sher, conducted an emergency visit to the border areas adjoining Azad Kashmir and reviewed the security arrangements in detail. During the visit, she inspected key locations including Beor Check Post and Azad Pattan.
Accompanied by DSP Kahuta Waqar Azim and SHO Kahuta Nadeem Altaf, the SP reviewed police deployment, patrolling system, and checking procedures at entry and exit points. She stated that the main objective of the visit was to boost the morale of police personnel and further strengthen security measures.
SP Saddar said that the top priority of the police is to ensure the protection of the lives and property of citizens and maintain complete law and order in the region. She made it clear that no miscreant would be allowed to disturb peace, and strict monitoring of all routes is underway.
She directed police officials to ensure that no suspicious person or vehicle is allowed entry without proper checking, and negligence in duty will not be tolerated.
Following the directives, Kahuta Police further enhanced its security strategy by deploying additional personnel and improving the patrol system on modern lines. Checking at sensitive and border points continues round the clock.
The SP also appealed to citizens to immediately report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station so that anti-social elements can be effectively dealt with.
Furthermore, an important meeting was held regarding security arrangements during Muharram-ul-Haram under the chairmanship of SP Saddar Anam Sher. The meeting was attended by police officials, members of peace committees, religious scholars, and trader representatives.
It was decided that all processions and religious gatherings will be held according to their scheduled timings and routes, and full compliance with government SOPs will be ensured.
