Rawat: Dangerous Car Lifter Gang Opens Fire on Police; One Gang Member Killed

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، اکرام الحق قریشی، ,07,جولائی، 2024) –روات کے علاقہ میں گاڑی چوری کرنے والے خطرناک کار لفٹر گینگ کے ملزمان کی پولیس پارٹی پر فائرنگ،ملزمان کی اپنی فائرنگ سے ایک ڈاکو ہلاک، ایک زخمی حالت میں گرفتار جبکہ ایک ساتھی فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے فرار ہو گیا،روات پولیس نے گاڑی چوری کی روک تھام کے لیے خصوصی ناکہ بندی کی، دوران ناکہ بندی مشکوک گاڑی کو روکنے کا اشارہ کیا تو ملزمان پولیس پر فائرنگ کرتے ہوئے فرار ہو گئے،پولیس نے گاڑی کا تعاقب کیا تو ملزمان نے وارث خان کے علاقہ میں دوبارہ پولیس پارٹی پر فائرنگ کر دی،ملزمان کی فائرنگ سے ان کا ایک ساتھی ہلاک جبکہ ایک ساتھی کو زخمی حالت میں گرفتار کر لیا،واقعہ کی اطلاع پر سینئر افسران نفری کے ہمراہ فوری موقعہ پر پہنچ گئے، ہلاک ڈاکو کی شناخت عدنا ن جبکہ زخمی ڈاکوکی رمضان کے نام سے ہوئی ،نعش کو پوسٹمارٹم جبکہ زخمی کو علاج معالجہ کے لیے ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا،ملزمان سے تھانہ روات کے علاقہ سے چوری ہونے والی گاڑی اور اسلحہ برآمد ہوا، ہلاک ڈاکو کار چوری کے درجنوں مقدمات میں ریکارڈ یافتہ اور پولیس کو مطلوب تھا، فرار ڈاکو کی گرفتاری کے لیے علاقہ میں سرچنگ کا عمل جاری ہے،

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, 7 July 2024) – In the Rawat area, a notorious car lifter gang opened fire on a police party during an attempted vehicle theft. One gang member was killed by their own gunfire, another was arrested in an injured state, and a third escaped while shooting.

The Rawat police had set up a special checkpoint to prevent car thefts. During the checkpoint, a suspicious vehicle was signalled to stop, but the suspects fired at the police and attempted to flee. The police pursued the vehicle, and the suspects again opened fire on the police in the Waris Khan area. During this exchange, one gang member was killed, later identified as Adnan, and another, identified as Ramzan, was captured in an injured state.

Senior officers, along with additional personnel, promptly arrived at the scene upon receiving the report. The deceased’s body was sent for a post-mortem, while the injured suspect was taken to the hospital for treatment. The police recovered the stolen vehicle and weapons from the suspects, which had been reported stolen from the Rawat area. The deceased gang member had a record of multiple car theft cases and was wanted by the police. A search operation is underway to apprehend the escaped suspect.
