Rawat: Government school to take Saturday as holiday

راوت (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، اکرام الحق قریشی،27، جون، 2024) – پنجاب کے سرکاری سکولوں میں ہفتہ کو بھی چھٹی دینے کا فیصلہ کر لیا گیا۔ اب پنجاب کے تعلیمی اداروں میں ہفتہ اور اتوار کو چھٹی ہوا کرے گی ۔اس بات کا فیصلہ اساتذہ پر بوجھ کے باعث کیا گیا ۔

Rawat (Pothwar.com, Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi, 27, June 2024) –: In a relief to students and teachers, the Punjab government has announced two weekly holidays in schools across the province.

Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat declared Saturday as a weekly holiday, adding that the schools will now remain closed for two days a week.

Taking on X, the Education Minister said that the decision has been taken to provide relief to the teachers’ community in the province. “Teachers are serving the nation and we must take care of them”.

He added that the decision of two weekly holidays was taken due to the excessive workload on teachers. He further said that the school’s timings however will be increased from Monday to Friday so the decision would not affect the education of the students.
