Gujar Khan: Body of Missing 8-Year-Old Orphan Muhammad Ayan Recovered from Well Near Home

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 11 ستمبر 2026): گوجر خان کے نواحی علاقے جیرورتیال کی ڈھوک ماسٹر علی شان میں آٹھ سالہ لاپتہ یتیم بچے محمد ایان کی نعش گھر کے قریب واقع ایک کنویں سے برآمد ہونے کے بعد علاقے میں سوگ کی فضا طاری ہوگئی، جبکہ اہل خانہ، عزیز و اقارب اور اہل علاقہ غم سے نڈھال ہیں۔

ذرائع کے مطابق محمد ایان 8 ستمبر کی صبح تقریباً 9 بجے گھر سے نکلا تھا، تاہم کافی وقت گزرنے کے باوجود واپس نہ آنے پر اہل خانہ نے اس کی تلاش شروع کی۔ بچے کا کوئی سراغ نہ ملنے پر اس کے ماموں غفار احمد قریشی نے گزشتہ روز تھانہ گوجر خان میں گمشدگی کی رپورٹ درج کرائی۔

پولیس نے واقعے کا مقدمہ زیر دفعہ 363 تعزیراتِ پاکستان کے تحت درج کرکے بچے کی تلاش شروع کی۔ پولیس اور اہل علاقہ کی جانب سے مختلف مقامات پر تلاش جاری تھی کہ آج شام محمد ایان کی نعش گھر کے قریب واقع کنویں سے برآمد ہوئی۔

مقامی ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ ابتدائی طور پر شبہ ظاہر کیا جا رہا ہے کہ بچے کی نعش کو ایک بوری میں بند کرکے کنویں میں پھینکا گیا۔ تاہم واقعے کی اصل نوعیت اور موت کی وجوہات کا تعین پولیس تفتیش اور پوسٹ مارٹم رپورٹ کے بعد ہی ممکن ہوگا۔

بچے کی نعش ملنے کی اطلاع جب اہل خانہ کو ہوئی تو گھر میں کہرام مچ گیا اور لواحقین دھاڑیں مار کر رونے لگے۔ واقعے کی اطلاع ملتے ہی بڑی تعداد میں اہل علاقہ بھی موقع پر پہنچ گئے، جہاں افسوسناک واقعے پر شدید غم و غصے کا اظہار کیا گیا۔

ذرائع کے مطابق محمد ایان کی تلاش کے دوران کھوجی کتے نے مبینہ طور پر گاؤں کے ایک گھر میں داخل ہو کر وہاں موجود چارپائی کے قریب بیٹھنے کا ردعمل ظاہر کیا۔ کتے کو وہاں سے دور لے جا کر دوبارہ چھوڑا گیا تو وہ مبینہ طور پر دوبارہ اسی گھر میں داخل ہو کر چارپائی پر بیٹھ گیا۔ اس معاملے کی بھی تفتیشی حکام کی جانب سے تصدیق اور قانونی اہمیت کا تعین کیا جانا باقی ہے۔

پوسٹ مارٹم کے بعد محمد ایان کی نعش ورثا کے حوالے کردی گئی۔ واقعے کے بعد علاقے میں خوف، غم اور تشویش کی کیفیت پائی جاتی ہے، جبکہ اہل علاقہ نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ بچے کی موت کے ذمہ داروں کا سراغ لگا کر انہیں قانون کے مطابق انصاف کے کٹہرے میں لایا جائے۔

دوسری جانب شہری حلقوں نے اس افسوسناک واقعے پر گوجر خان سے منتخب ہونے والے اراکین اسمبلی، سیاسی، دینی، سماجی اور فلاحی تنظیموں کی مبینہ خاموشی پر بھی تشویش کا اظہار کیا ہے۔ اہل علاقہ کا کہنا ہے کہ ایسے واقعات پر اجتماعی طور پر آواز اٹھانا اور متاثرہ خاندان کو انصاف کی فراہمی کے لیے کردار ادا کرنا ضروری ہے۔

پولیس کی جانب سے واقعے کی مزید تحقیقات جاری ہیں، جبکہ حتمی حقائق تفتیش مکمل ہونے اور فرانزک و پوسٹ مارٹم شواہد سامنے آنے کے بعد ہی واضح ہوں گے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, September 11, 2026): The body of eight-year-old orphan Muhammad Ayan, who had been missing since September 8, was recovered from a well near his home in Dhok Master Ali Shan, on the outskirts of Jiroratial, Gujar Khan, leaving his family and the local community devastated.

According to the information available, Muhammad Ayan left his home at around 9 a.m. on September 8 but did not return despite the passage of several hours. Family members and relatives searched for him in the surrounding areas but were unable to locate him.

The child’s maternal uncle, Ghaffar Ahmed Qureshi, subsequently reported his disappearance to Gujar Khan Police Station. Police registered a case under Section 363 of the Pakistan Penal Code and initiated efforts to trace the missing child.

The search continued until the child’s body was recovered from a well located close to his home on Friday evening. Local sources claimed that the body appeared to have been placed inside a sack before being thrown into the well. However, this allegation has yet to be officially established, and the circumstances surrounding the child’s death will depend on the findings of the police investigation, forensic evidence and post-mortem examination.

News of the recovery plunged the family into grief. Relatives reportedly broke down upon learning that the missing child had been found dead, while a large number of local residents gathered at the scene and expressed deep sorrow and anger over the incident.

During the search for Mohammad Ayan, a sniffer dog reportedly entered a house in the village and sat near a charpoy. According to local accounts, the dog was taken away from the area and released again, after which it reportedly returned to the same house and again sat on the charpoy. The significance of this development, if any, remains subject to verification by investigating authorities.

Following the post-mortem examination, the child’s body was handed over to his family for burial.

The tragic death has generated grief and concern throughout the area, with residents demanding a transparent and thorough investigation and urging authorities to identify anyone responsible and bring them before the law if criminal involvement is established.

Meanwhile, local civic circles have expressed disappointment over what they describe as silence from elected representatives from Gujar Khan, as well as various political, religious, social and welfare organisations, following the death of the child. Residents have called for public representatives and community organisations to support the bereaved family and raise their voice for justice.

Police investigations into the circumstances surrounding Muhammad Ayan’s death are continuing. Further facts are expected to emerge after investigators examine forensic evidence, the post-mortem findings and other available evidence.
