Rawalpindi; Petrol and Diesel Prices Increased as Crude Oil Prices Fall in Global Market
پیٹرول اور ڈیزل کی قیمتوں میں اضافہ، عالمی منڈی میں خام تیل سستا
راولپنڈی (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی |05 ستمبر 2026)— اوگرا نے پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کا اعلان کردیا ہے۔ پیٹرولیم ڈویژن کے جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق پیٹرول کی قیمت میں 2 روپے 84 پیسے جبکہ ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 2 روپے 28 پیسے فی لیٹر اضافہ کردیا گیا۔ پیٹرول کی نئی قیمت 349 روپے اور ڈیزل کی قیمت 374 روپے 31 پیسے مقرر کردی گئی۔
نئی قیمتوں کا اطلاق آج رات 12 بجے سے کل چار ستمبر تک کیلئے ہوگا۔
بین الاقوامی منڈی میں جمعرات کو خام تیل کے نرخوں میں کمی کا رجحان رہا جبکہ سونے اور چاندی کے نرخوں میں اضافہ ریکارڈ کیا گیا۔ بلوم برگ کی رپورٹ کے مطابق کموڈٹی مارکیٹ میں کاروباری سرگرمیوں کے دوران امریکی خام تیل ڈبلیو ٹی آئی کروڈ کے اکتوبر کے لئے معاہدے 0.94 ڈالر کی کمی سے 90.07 ڈالر فی بیرل اور برینٹ کروڈ کے نومبر میں ترسیل کے معاہدے 1.04 ڈالر کی کمی سے 94.59 ڈالر فی بیرل میں طے پائے۔
سونے کے نرخ 60.60 ڈالر کے اضافے سے 4475.20 ڈالر فی اونس اور چاندی کے نرخ ایک ڈالر اضافے کے ساتھ 66.47 ڈالر فی اونس پر پہنچ گئے تاہم اجناس کی قیمتوں میں کمی ریکارڈ کی گئی اور مکئی کے دسمبر کے لئے معاہدے 3.50 ڈالر کی کمی سے 540.00 ڈالر فی بشل اور گندم کے دسمبر کے لئے معاہدے 2.50 ڈالر کی کمی سے 771.50 ڈالر فی بشل میں طے پائے۔
امریکی فوج نے آبنائے ہرمز سے گزرنے والے 40 تجارتی جہازوں کو سکیورٹی فراہم کی، جن پر مجموعی طور پر تقریبا 18 ملین بیرل تیل لدا ہوا تھا۔
غیرملکی میڈیا کے مطابق یہ جنگ کے دوران آبنائے ہرمز میں امریکی فوج کی جانب سے کیا جانے والا اب تک کا سب سے بڑا حفاظتی آپریشن تھا۔رپورٹ کے مطابق امریکی فوج نے بحری جہازوں کو حفاظتی حصار فراہم کرنے کے دوران آبنائے ہرمز کے اطراف میں ایرانی فوجی تنصیبات کو بھی نشانہ بنایا۔
Rawalpindi, September 05, 2026 (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi): — The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced an increase in the prices of petroleum products.
According to a notification issued by the Petroleum Division, the price of petrol has been increased by Rs2.84 per litre, while diesel has become Rs2.28 per litre more expensive.
Following the increase, petrol will be available at Rs349 per litre, while the new price of diesel has been fixed at Rs374.31 per litre.
The revised prices are scheduled to take effect from midnight.
Global Oil Prices Decline
Crude oil prices recorded a downward trend in the international market on Thursday, while gold and silver prices registered gains.
According to Bloomberg, during trading in the commodities market, October WTI crude oil futures fell by $0.94 to settle at $90.07 per barrel.
Meanwhile, November Brent crude futures declined by $1.04, settling at $94.59 per barrel.
Gold and Silver Prices Rise
Gold prices increased by $60.60, reaching $4,475.20 per ounce, while silver gained $1 to reach $66.47 per ounce.
Other commodities, however, recorded declines. December corn futures fell by $3.50 to settle at $540 per bushel, while December wheat futures dropped by $2.50, closing at $771.50 per bushel.
US Military Escorts Oil Tankers Through Strait of Hormuz
Meanwhile, the US military provided security escorts to 40 commercial vessels passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The vessels were reportedly carrying a combined cargo of approximately 18 million barrels of oil.
According to foreign media reports, the operation was the largest security escort conducted by the US military in the Strait of Hormuz during the war so far.
The reports further stated that while providing a protective naval escort to the commercial vessels, US forces also targeted Iranian military installations around the Strait of Hormuz.
