گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 19 اگست 2026):جی ٹی روڈ کی سروس روڈز پر جاری تعمیراتی کام کے باعث راولپنڈی اور جہلم کی جانب جانے والے دونوں اطراف ٹریفک کو عارضی طور پر سنگل لین میں چلایا جا رہا ہے، جس کے باعث مختلف مقامات پر ٹریفک کی روانی متاثر ہونے اور گاڑیوں کی رفتار کم ہونے کا امکان ہے۔

ٹریفک انتظامیہ کے مطابق جی ٹی روڈ کی سروس روڈز پر تعمیراتی اور ترقیاتی کام جاری ہیں، جس کے باعث سڑک کے بعض حصوں میں ٹریفک کے لیے دستیاب جگہ محدود کر دی گئی ہے۔ شہریوں اور مسافروں سے اپیل کی گئی ہے کہ وہ تعمیراتی علاقوں کے قریب خصوصی احتیاط کا مظاہرہ کریں اور ٹریفک قوانین کی مکمل پابندی کریں۔

جہلم جانے والی جی ٹی روڈ عارضی طور پر بند

ٹریفک صورتحال کے حوالے سے بتایا گیا ہے کہ جی ٹی روڈ پر گلیانہ موڑ یوٹرن سے نگائیل شنواری ہوٹل یوٹرن تک جہلم کی جانب جانے والی سڑک عارضی طور پر بند کر دی گئی ہے۔

اس بندش کے باعث جہلم کی جانب جانے والی ٹریفک کو متبادل انتظام کے تحت مخالف سمت سے گزارا جا رہا ہے، جہاں ڈبل ٹریفک چل رہی ہے۔ اس صورتحال میں ڈرائیوروں سے کہا گیا ہے کہ وہ سڑک پر موجود ٹریفک اشاروں، سائن بورڈز اور ٹریفک اہلکاروں کی ہدایات پر خصوصی توجہ دیں۔

رفتار کم رکھنے اور غیر ضروری اوورٹیکنگ سے گریز کی ہدایت

ٹریفک پولیس نے شہریوں، مسافروں اور بالخصوص موٹر سائیکل سواروں سے اپیل کی ہے کہ تعمیراتی کام کے باعث سڑک کی صورتحال کو مدنظر رکھتے ہوئے رفتار کم رکھیں اور غیر ضروری اوورٹیکنگ، جلد بازی اور خطرناک ڈرائیونگ سے مکمل اجتناب کریں۔

ڈرائیوروں کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ اپنی لین میں رہتے ہوئے سفر کریں اور لین و لائن کی پابندی کو یقینی بنائیں۔ موجودہ ٹریفک انتظام کے دوران ون وے کی خلاف ورزی نہ کی جائے کیونکہ مخالف سمت سے آنے والی ٹریفک کے باعث معمولی سی لاپرواہی بھی حادثے کا سبب بن سکتی ہے۔

کھدائی والی جگہوں سے غیر محفوظ کراسنگ سے گریز کریں

تعمیراتی کام کے باعث سڑک کے بعض حصوں میں کھدائی بھی جاری ہے۔ شہریوں اور پیدل چلنے والوں کو ہدایت کی گئی ہے کہ وہ کھدائی والی جگہوں سے غیر محفوظ طریقے سے سڑک عبور نہ کریں اور اپنی حفاظت کو ہر صورت مقدم رکھیں۔

ٹریفک پولیس نے واضح کیا ہے کہ تعمیراتی مقامات پر ٹریفک کی روانی برقرار رکھنے اور حادثات سے بچاؤ کے لیے اہلکار موجود رہیں گے۔ شہریوں سے تعاون کی اپیل کرتے ہوئے کہا گیا ہے کہ وہ ٹریفک پولیس کی جانب سے دی جانے والی ہدایات پر عمل کریں۔

مسافروں سے تعاون کی اپیل

ٹریفک انتظامیہ کے مطابق تعمیراتی کام مکمل ہونے تک شہریوں کو سفر کے دوران اضافی وقت رکھنا چاہیے تاکہ جلد بازی کی ضرورت پیش نہ آئے۔ خصوصاً رش کے اوقات میں ڈرائیور متبادل راستوں کے استعمال پر بھی غور کریں اور تعمیراتی مقام کے قریب پہنچ کر گاڑی کی رفتار کم کر دیں۔

شہریوں سے اپیل کی گئی ہے کہ وہ ٹریفک قوانین کی پابندی کرتے ہوئے انتظامیہ کے ساتھ تعاون کریں۔ احتیاط، کم رفتار اور لین ڈسپلن اختیار کرنے سے نہ صرف ٹریفک کی روانی بہتر رکھنے میں مدد ملے گی بلکہ کسی بھی ممکنہ حادثے سے بھی بچا جا سکے گا۔

ٹریفک پولیس نے ایک بار پھر شہریوں کو ہدایت کی ہے کہ غیر ضروری اوورٹیکنگ، ون وے کی خلاف ورزی، جلد بازی اور غیر محفوظ کراسنگ سے گریز کریں اور تعمیراتی کام کے دوران ٹریفک اہلکاروں کی ہدایات کو ترجیحی بنیادوں پر ملحوظ خاطر رکھیں۔

The ongoing development and construction work has reduced the available road space in certain sections, creating the possibility of slower traffic movement and congestion, particularly during busy hours. Traffic authorities have urged motorists and commuters to exercise extra caution while passing through the construction zones and to strictly observe traffic rules.

GT Road Section Towards Jhelum Temporarily Closed

According to the traffic authorities, the Jhelum-bound section of GT Road from the Galliana Mor U-turn to the Nigaeel Shinwari Hotel U-turn has been temporarily closed due to the ongoing construction work.

As a result, Jhelum-bound traffic is being managed through the opposite carriageway, where two-way traffic is currently operating. Motorists have been advised to remain particularly vigilant in this section and follow traffic signs, road markings and instructions issued by traffic police personnel.

Motorists Urged to Reduce Speed and Avoid Unnecessary Overtaking

Traffic police have appealed to motorists, commuters and especially motorcyclists to reduce their speed while travelling through the affected areas.

Drivers have been advised to avoid unnecessary overtaking, speeding, sudden lane changes and other forms of risky driving. Given the temporary traffic arrangements, even a minor mistake or careless manoeuvre could increase the risk of an accident.
