Kallar Syedan: Islamabad Police Seize Vehicle in Chauk Pindori Without Informing Local Police

Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com — Ikram-ul-Haq Qureshi | August 8, 2026): Secretary of the Kallar Syedan Bar Association, Chaudhry Ijaz Hussain Gujjar, has raised serious concerns over an alleged operation by Islamabad Police in the Chauk Pindori area, which falls within the jurisdiction of Kallar Syedan Police Station.

According to Chaudhry Ijaz Hussain Gujjar, Islamabad Police allegedly took away a vehicle belonging to a respectable local citizen from Chauk Pindori market without informing the local police or recording any entry at Kallar Syedan Police Station.

He said that no arrival or movement was reportedly recorded by Islamabad Police at the local police station before the vehicle was taken from the market. The alleged action has caused concern and anxiety among residents and traders in the area.

Chaudhry Ijaz Hussain Gujjar maintained that law-enforcement agencies are required to coordinate with the local police before conducting operations within the jurisdiction of another district. He described the alleged action as unlawful and said it had created a sense of fear and insecurity among the public.

He called upon senior authorities to order an immediate investigation into the incident and take legal action against any officials found responsible for violating the law.

He further urged the relevant authorities to ensure that all law-enforcement operations conducted outside an agency’s jurisdiction are carried out in accordance with legal procedures and with proper coordination with the local police.
