راولپنڈی، 27 ستمبر 2026 (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی)فاطمہ جناح وومن یونیورسٹی راولپنڈی نے یو آئی گرین میٹرک ورلڈ یونیورسٹی رینکنگز 2026 میں پاکستان کی بہترین وومن یونیورسٹی ہونے کا اعزاز حاصل کر لیا جبکہ دنیا بھر کی وومن یونیورسٹیز میں مجموعی طور پر دوسری پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے۔ تازہ ترین عالمی درجہ بندی کے مطابق فاطمہ جناح وومن یونیورسٹی نے ’’سیٹنگ اینڈ انفراسٹرکچر‘‘ کیٹیگری میں دنیا بھر کی وومن یونیورسٹیز میں پہلی پوزیشن بھی حاصل کی۔
یونیورسٹی نے ایشیا میں 358ویں جبکہ پاکستان کی سرکاری و نجی جامعات میں مجموعی طور پر 24ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی ہے۔ دنیا بھر کی 2016 جامعات پر مشتمل 2026 کی رینکنگ میں فاطمہ جناح وومن یونیورسٹی نے مجموعی طور پر 612ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی جو گزشتہ برسوں کے مقابلے میں نمایاں بہتری ہے۔
یونیورسٹی نے 2023 میں 1183 جامعات میں 835ویں، 2024 میں 734ویں اور 2025 میں 663ویں پوزیشن حاصل کی تھی۔
یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ کے مطابق رینکنگ میں مسلسل بہتری ماحول دوست پالیسیوں، پائیدار کیمپس اقدامات اور گرین انفراسٹرکچر کے فروغ کے لیے جاری کاوشوں کا نتیجہ ہے۔ اس کامیابی میں وائس چانسلر پروفیسر ڈاکٹر بشریٰ مرزا، ڈائریکٹر کوالٹی انہانسمنٹ سیل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر بشریٰ یاسمین اور ایڈیشنل ڈائریکٹر کیو ای سی و فوکل پرسن برائے بین الاقوامی رینکنگز نوشین ناز کی کاوشیں شامل ہیں۔ یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ نے اس نمایاں کامیابی پر تمام شعبہ جات اور متعلقہ ٹیم کو مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ فاطمہ جناح وومن یونیورسٹی میں پائیدار اور ماحول دوست پالیسیوں، گرین انفراسٹرکچر اور معیاری تعلیمی ماحول کے فروغ کا سلسلہ مزید تیز کیا جائے گا۔

Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU), Rawalpindi, has been ranked as the top women’s university in Pakistan and secured second place among women’s universities worldwide in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings 2026.
According to the latest global ranking, the university also secured first position among women’s universities worldwide in the “Setting and Infrastructure” category.
FJWU ranked 358th in Asia and 24th overall among public and private universities in Pakistan. Out of 2,016 universities included in the 2026 global ranking, the university secured 612th position overall, marking continued improvement compared with previous years.
The university ranked 835th among 1,183 universities in 2023, 734th in 2024 and 663rd in 2025.
According to the university administration, the continued improvement in its ranking reflects ongoing efforts to promote environmentally friendly policies, sustainable campus practices and green infrastructure.
The administration credited Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Bushra Mirza, Director Quality Enhancement Cell Professor Dr. Bushra Yasmeen, and Additional Director QEC and Focal Person for International Rankings Nosheen Naz for their efforts toward the achievement.
The university administration congratulated all departments and teams involved in the accomplishment and reaffirmed its commitment to further strengthening sustainable and environmentally friendly policies, green infrastructure and a high-quality academic environment at Fatima Jinnah Women University.
