Sheffield Mela 2026 Celebrates Culture, Diversity and Community Spirit

شیفیلڈ میلہ 2026 بھرپور جوش و خروش، ثقافتی رنگا رنگی اور کمیونٹی جذبے کے ساتھ منعقد ہوا، جس میں جنوبی یارکشائر اور دیگر علاقوں سے ہزاروں افراد نے شرکت کی۔ ایک روزہ میلے میں موسیقی، رقص، روایتی کھانوں، فنون لطیفہ اور خاندانی تفریح کے مختلف پروگرام پیش کیے گئے۔

سالانہ شیفیلڈ میلہ برطانیہ کے کثیر الثقافتی معاشرے کی خوبصورت عکاسی کرتا ہے، جہاں جنوبی ایشیائی، مشرق وسطیٰ، افریقی اور دیگر مختلف ثقافتوں سے تعلق رکھنے والی کمیونٹیز نے اپنی روایات اور ثقافتی ورثے کو اجاگر کیا۔ میلے میں خاندانوں، سماجی تنظیموں، کمیونٹی گروپس اور مختلف عمر کے افراد نے بڑی تعداد میں شرکت کی۔

مرکزی اسٹیج پر مقامی اور بین الاقوامی فنکاروں نے شاندار پرفارمنسز پیش کیں، جن میں روایتی لوک رقص، قوالی، بھنگڑا، بالی ووڈ پرفارمنس، جدید موسیقی اور مختلف ثقافتی پروگرام شامل تھے۔ فنکاروں کی شاندار پیشکشوں پر شرکاء نے بھرپور داد دی اور ماحول خوشی و مسرت سے گونجتا رہا۔

میلے میں لگائے گئے مختلف فوڈ اسٹالز بھی لوگوں کی خصوصی توجہ کا مرکز رہے، جہاں پاکستان، بھارت، بنگلہ دیش، سری لنکا، مشرق وسطیٰ، افریقہ اور دنیا کے دیگر خطوں کے روایتی کھانے پیش کیے گئے۔ شرکاء نے مختلف ذائقوں اور ثقافتی کھانوں سے لطف اندوز ہوتے ہوئے مختلف معاشروں کی روایات کو قریب سے محسوس کیا۔

شیفیلڈ میلہ 2026 میں فنون لطیفہ اور دستکاری کی نمائش، ثقافتی ورثے کے اسٹالز، صحت سے متعلق آگاہی مہمات، فلاحی اداروں کے بوتھ اور مقامی تنظیموں کی جانب سے معلوماتی مراکز بھی قائم کیے گئے۔ بچوں کے لیے خصوصی تفریحی سرگرمیوں، فیس پینٹنگ، جھولوں اور تعلیمی سرگرمیوں کا بھی اہتمام کیا گیا، جس سے خاندانوں نے بھرپور لطف اٹھایا۔

مقامی کمیونٹی رہنماؤں نے میلے کو مختلف ثقافتوں کے درمیان ہم آہنگی، شمولیت اور باہمی سمجھ بوجھ کو فروغ دینے کا بہترین ذریعہ قرار دیا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ شیفیلڈ میلہ شہر کے بڑے ثقافتی پروگراموں میں شامل ہو چکا ہے جو مختلف کمیونٹیز کو قریب لانے اور تنوع کو منانے میں اہم کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔

تقریب کے دوران منتظمین نے رضاکاروں، اسپانسرز، فنکاروں، ہنگامی خدمات کے اداروں اور مقامی حکام کا شکریہ ادا کیا جن کے تعاون سے یہ کامیاب انعقاد ممکن ہوا۔ منتظمین کا کہنا تھا کہ شیفیلڈ میلہ ثقافتی تبادلے، مقامی کاروباروں کے فروغ اور کمیونٹی روابط مضبوط بنانے کے لیے ایک اہم پلیٹ فارم فراہم کرتا ہے۔

شرکاء نے میلے کو ثقافت، دوستی اور بھائی چارے کا خوبصورت جشن قرار دیا۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ایک ہی جگہ پر دنیا بھر کی مختلف روایات، کھانوں اور ثقافتی مظاہر کو دیکھنا ایک منفرد تجربہ تھا۔

اختتامی تقریب میں موسیقی اور ثقافتی پروگراموں کے ساتھ میلہ اختتام پذیر ہوا۔ منتظمین نے امید ظاہر کی کہ شیفیلڈ میلہ آنے والے برسوں میں مزید ترقی کرے گا، زیادہ سے زیادہ لوگوں کو اپنی جانب متوجہ کرے گا اور شیفیلڈ کو برطانیہ کے متنوع اور پرامن شہروں میں نمایاں مقام دلانے میں اپنا کردار ادا کرتا رہے گا۔

London, August 06, 2026 (Pothwar.com – Mohammad Naseer Raja):  Thousands of visitors from across South Yorkshire and beyond gathered to celebrate the vibrant spirit of multicultural Britain as Sheffield Mela 2026 brought together communities for a day filled with music, dance, food, arts, and family entertainment.

Held in a festive atmosphere, the annual event showcased the rich cultural heritage of South Asian, Middle Eastern, African, and other diverse communities living in Sheffield. Families, community groups, local organisations, and visitors of all ages enjoyed a packed programme of live performances, cultural exhibitions, children’s activities, and traditional cuisine.

The main stage featured performances by local and international artists, including traditional folk dances, Qawwali, Bhangra, Bollywood performances, contemporary music, and multicultural entertainment. The performances received enthusiastic applause from audiences throughout the day.

A wide variety of food stalls offered authentic dishes from Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Middle East, Africa, and other parts of the world, giving visitors an opportunity to experience different flavours and culinary traditions.

The event also included arts and crafts exhibitions, heritage displays, health awareness campaigns, charity stalls, and information booths run by local councils and community organisations. Children enjoyed dedicated play areas, face painting, fairground rides, and interactive educational activities.

Local community leaders praised the festival for promoting harmony, inclusion, and understanding among people from different backgrounds. They highlighted that Sheffield Mela has become one of the city’s most anticipated multicultural celebrations, strengthening relationships between communities while celebrating diversity.
