London: Falak Raja Appointed UK Youth Ambassador for the Commonwealth

لندن (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام – محمد نصیر راجہ، 24 جون 2026) –فلق راجہ برطانیہ کے شہر نیلسن سے تعلق رکھنے والی 20 سالہ فلک راجہ کو دولتِ مشترکہ (کامن ویلتھ) کے لیے برطانیہ کی نوجوان سفیر منتخب کر لیا گیا ہے۔ وہ یوتھ کونسل یوکے کے نو تشکیل شدہ ایگزیکٹو بورڈ میں شامل چار نوجوان سفیروں میں سے ایک ہوں گی اور بین الاقوامی سطح پر نوجوانوں کے مسائل اور حقوق کی نمائندگی کریں گی۔فلک راجہ ان 19 نوجوان رہنماؤں میں شامل ہیں جن کی عمریں 16 سے 25 سال کے درمیان ہیں اور جو یوتھ کونسل یوکے کے نئے ایگزیکٹو بورڈ کی قیادت کریں گے۔ یہ بورڈ برطانیہ، کراؤن ڈیپنڈنسیز اور اوورسیز ٹیریٹریز میں موجود 200 سے زائد نوجوان تنظیموں کے وسیع نیٹ ورک کی نمائندگی کرتا ہے، جو تقریباً 78 لاکھ نوجوانوں تک رسائی رکھتا ہے۔اپنے انتخاب پر ردِعمل دیتے ہوئے فلک راجہ نے کہا کہ وہ اس اعزاز پر بے حد فخر اور عاجزی محسوس کرتی ہیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ان کی زندگی کا مقصد ہمیشہ سماجی انصاف کے فروغ اور تعلیم کے ذریعے لوگوں کی زندگیوں میں مثبت تبدیلی لانا رہا ہے۔انہوں نے کہا برطانیہ اور بیرونِ ملک موجود تمام نوجوانوں سے میرا وعدہ ہے کہ میں ان کی بھرپور نمائندگی کروں گی اور اس بات کو یقینی بنانے کے لیے انتھک محنت کروں گی کہ نوجوانوں کی آواز نہ صرف سنی جائیں بلکہ وہ اس مثبت تبدیلی کی محرک بھی بنیں جس کے ہم سب حقدار ہیں۔یوتھ کونسل یوکے کے بانی اراکین کی جانب سے منتخب کیا جانے والا یہ ایگزیکٹو بورڈ دو سالہ مدت کے لیے خدمات انجام دے گا اور جلد ہی اپنے اراکین سے مشاورت کے بعد اپنی ابتدائی ترجیحات کا تعین کرے گا۔تنظیم کی جانب سے نوجوان رہنماؤں کی معاونت کے لیے ماہرین پر مشتمل ایک غیر ووٹنگ سپورٹ بورڈ بھی قائم کیا جائے گا، جو رہنمائی اور مشاورتی خدمات فراہم کرے گا۔فلک راجہ کا انتخاب نوجوان قیادت، سماجی انصاف اور تعلیم کے شعبوں میں ان کی خدمات کے اعتراف کے طور پر دیکھا جا رہا ہے، جبکہ یہ کامیابی برطانیہ میں مقیم نوجوان پاکستانی کمیونٹی کے لیے بھی باعثِ فخر قرار دی جا رہی ہے۔

London (Pothwar.com – Mohammad Naseer Raja, June 24, 2026) – Twenty-year-old Falak Raja from Nelson, United Kingdom, has been selected as the UK’s Youth Ambassador for the Commonwealth. She will be one of four young ambassadors serving on the newly established Executive Board of Youth Council UK, representing the interests, rights, and concerns of young people on an international stage.

Falak Raja is among 19 young leaders, aged between 16 and 25, chosen to lead the new Executive Board of Youth Council UK. The board represents a network of more than 200 youth organisations across the United Kingdom, Crown Dependencies, and Overseas Territories, reaching approximately 7.8 million young people.

Reacting to her appointment, Falak Raja said she felt both honoured and humbled by the opportunity. She stated that her lifelong mission has been to promote social justice and create positive change in people’s lives through education.

“I promise all young people in the UK and abroad that I will represent them to the best of my ability and work tirelessly to ensure that young voices are not only heard but also become a driving force for the positive change we all deserve,” she said.

The Executive Board, elected by the founding members of Youth Council UK, will serve a two-year term and will soon begin consulting with its members to establish its initial priorities and strategic objectives.

The organisation has also announced plans to establish a non-voting Support Board comprising experienced professionals who will provide guidance, mentorship, and advisory services to the young leaders.

Falak Raja’s appointment is being widely recognised as an acknowledgement of her contributions to youth leadership, social justice, and education. Her achievement is also being celebrated as a source of pride for the young British-Pakistani community across the United Kingdom.
