London : Naeem Akhtar from Kallar Syedan Elected Councillor in UK Local Elections
کلرسیداں کے نعیم اختر برطانیہ کے شہر کووینٹری میں کونسلر منتخب

تحصیل کلرسیداں کے علاقے باغ جمیری سے تعلق رکھنے والے نعیم اختر برطانیہ کے شہر کووینٹری میں ہونے والے حالیہ بلدیاتی انتخابات میں کونسلر منتخب ہو گئے۔
نعیم اختر نے کووینٹری کے ووبرلے وارڈ سے 1,877 ووٹ حاصل کر کے کامیابی اپنے نام کی۔ ان کی کامیابی پر کلرسیداں، باغ جمیری اور گردونواح کے علاقوں سمیت اوورسیز پاکستانی کمیونٹی میں خوشی کی لہر دوڑ گئی۔ عزیز و اقارب، دوست احباب اور سماجی شخصیات نے انہیں مبارکباد دیتے ہوئے اس کامیابی کو علاقے کے لیے باعثِ فخر قرار دیا۔
مقامی ذرائع کے مطابق نعیم اختر گزشتہ کئی برسوں سے کووینٹری میں سماجی اور فلاحی سرگرمیوں میں بڑھ چڑھ کر حصہ لیتے رہے ہیں۔ ان کی کامیابی کو عوامی خدمت، کمیونٹی ویلفیئر اور مقامی افراد کے ساتھ مضبوط روابط کا اعتراف قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔
شہریوں کا کہنا ہے کہ بیرون ملک سیاسی میدان میں پاکستانیوں کی کامیابیاں اس بات کا ثبوت ہیں کہ اوورسیز پاکستانی اپنی مثبت خدمات اور کردار کے ذریعے دنیا بھر میں پاکستان کا نام روشن کر رہے ہیں۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ نعیم اختر کی کامیابی علاقے کے نوجوانوں کے لیے بھی ایک مثال ہے جو انہیں عالمی سطح پر سیاسی اور سماجی سرگرمیوں میں حصہ لینے کی ترغیب دے گی۔
London (Pothwar.com, Mohammad Naseer Raja, May 10, 2026): Naeem Akhtar, who belongs to the Bagh Jamiri area of Tehsil Kallar Syedan, has been elected as a councillor in the recent local government elections held in Coventry.
Councillor Naeem Akhtar received 1,877 votes to be elected at Whoberley ward in Coventry.
His success has been warmly welcomed by residents of Kallar Syedan and the overseas Pakistani community, particularly people belonging to Bagh Jamiri and the surrounding areas. Relatives, friends, and well-wishers expressed happiness over his victory and termed it a matter of pride for the region.
According to local sources, Naeem Akhtar Country has been actively involved in community welfare and social activities in Coventry for many years. His election victory is being seen as recognition of his public service, commitment to community development, and close connection with local residents.
Residents said that the success of overseas Pakistanis in foreign political systems reflects the growing role and positive contribution of the Pakistani community abroad. They added that Naeem Akhtar’s victory would encourage young people from the area to participate actively in public and political affairs internationally.
