مانچسٹر میں کم عمر لڑکیوں کے جنسی استحصال کے جرم میں پانچ افراد کو جیل کی سزا سنا دی گئی۔ شیفلیڈ کراون کورٹ میں بتایا گیا کہ آٹھ ٹین ایج لڑکیوں کو شراب پلا کر اور مختلف قسم کی ڈرگز کے ذریعے ایک ہی وقت میں کئی ایک افراد نے مل کر نہ صرف جنسی زیادتی کی بلکہ کچھ کو ریپ بھی کیا۔ جن افراد کو جیل بھیجا گیا ان میں چالیس سالہ آفتاب حسین، اڑتیس سالہ عابد صدیق، پینتیس سالہ مسعود ملک اور پینتیس سالہ شیراز حسین شامل ہیں۔ پانچویں شخص کا نام ظاہر نہیں کیا گیا۔

Aftab Hussain, 40, was jailed for 24 years and Abid Saddiq, 38, for 20 years, with the judge calling the latter a “determined sexual predator”.Judge Michael Slater criticised the authorities for not taking action.
The three other men sentenced were Masaued Malik, 35, who was jailed for five years; Sharaz Hussain, 35, who was jailed for four years and another man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, who was jailed for 10 years.The men abused girls in the South Yorkshire town between 1998 and 2002.
