راولپنڈی: پاکستان تحریک انصاف کے رہنما اور گوجرخان سے رکن صوبائی اسمبلی چوہدری جاوید کوثر کو راولپنڈی میں انسدادِ دہشت گردی عدالت کے باہر سے گرفتار کر لیا گیا۔ گرفتاری کے بعد انہیں تھانہ سول لائن منتقل کیے جانے کی اطلاعات موصول ہوئی ہیں۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق چوہدری جاوید کوثر جی ایچ کیو حملہ کیس کی سماعت کے سلسلے میں انسدادِ دہشت گردی عدالت راولپنڈی پہنچے تھے، جہاں عدالت کے باہر موجود پولیس اہلکاروں نے انہیں حراست میں لے لیا۔ واقعے کے بعد سیاسی اور قانونی حلقوں میں ان کی گرفتاری سے متعلق مختلف قیاس آرائیاں اور اطلاعات گردش کرنے لگیں۔

ذرائع کے مطابق گرفتاری کے بعد چوہدری جاوید کوثر کو تھانہ سول لائن منتقل کیا گیا ہے۔ تاہم ان کی گرفتاری کی اصل وجوہات، قانونی بنیاد اور ان کے خلاف ہونے والی کارروائی کی نوعیت کے حوالے سے تاحال واضح صورتحال سامنے نہیں آ سکی۔

مختلف اطلاعات میں دعویٰ کیا جا رہا ہے کہ چوہدری جاوید کوثر کو مختلف تھانوں میں درج مقدمات کی بنیاد پر گرفتار کیا گیا، جبکہ بعض رپورٹس میں ان کی گرفتاری کے لیے مینٹیننس آف پبلک آرڈر (ایم پی او) کے تحت کارروائی کا ذکر بھی کیا گیا ہے۔

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA) from Gujar Khan, Chaudhry Javed Kausar, has reportedly been arrested outside the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in Rawalpindi.

According to available information, Chaudhry Javed Kausar had arrived at the Anti-Terrorism Court to attend proceedings in connection with the GHQ attack case when police personnel took him into custody outside the court premises.
