Bradford; Drug dealer Noman Sakandar to pay back £170k after drugs sold from station offices

لندن، 24 ستمبر 2026 (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — محمد نصیر راجہ):بریڈفورڈ منشیات فروشی کے مقدمے میں ملوث نومان سکندر کو عدالت نے مجرمانہ سرگرمیوں سے حاصل ہونے والی رقم واپس کرنے کا حکم دے دیا ہے۔ عدالت کے فیصلے کے مطابق نومان سکندر کو 1 لاکھ 70 ہزار پاؤنڈ واپس ادا کرنا ہوں گے۔

رپورٹ کے مطابق نومان سکندر نے ایک نجی ہائر کمپنی کے اسٹیشن دفاتر سے منشیات کا کاروبار چلایا، جہاں خفیہ پولیس اہلکاروں کو ہیروئن، کوکین اور کریک کوکین فروخت کی گئی۔ پولیس نے خفیہ کارروائی کے دوران منشیات کی خرید و فروخت کے شواہد اکٹھے کیے، جس کے بعد نومان سکندر کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی عمل میں لائی گئی۔

مقدمے کے بعد حکام نے منشیات کی غیر قانونی تجارت سے حاصل ہونے والی آمدنی اور اثاثوں کا جائزہ لیا۔ عدالت میں پیش کی گئی کارروائی کے نتیجے میں اسے قانون کے تحت £170,000 واپس ادا کرنے کا حکم دیا گیا۔

حکام کے مطابق اس نوعیت کی کارروائی کا مقصد نہ صرف منشیات کی سپلائی روکنا بلکہ جرائم سے حاصل ہونے والے مالی فوائد کو بھی ختم کرنا ہے۔ عدالت کی جانب سے عائد کردہ رقم نومان سکندر کی مجرمانہ سرگرمیوں سے حاصل ہونے والی مالی منفعت سے متعلق کارروائی کا حصہ ہے۔

پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ منشیات کی سپلائی میں ملوث افراد کے خلاف کارروائی جاری رکھی جائے گی اور جرائم سے حاصل ہونے والے مالی وسائل کا سراغ لگا کر انہیں قانون کے مطابق ضبط یا واپس حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کی جائے گی۔

Sakandar who supplied heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine to undercover police officers has been ordered to repay £170,000 following a proceeds-of-crime investigation.

The dealer was targeted as part of an undercover operation in Keighley, during which police officers posed as customers and arranged drug transactions through a private-hire company. Investigators gathered evidence of the supply of Class A drugs, including heroin, cocaine and crack cocaine.

Following his conviction, authorities launched proceedings to establish the financial benefit he had obtained from his criminal activity. A court has now ordered him to pay back £170,000 under proceeds-of-crime legislation.

The order means that the defendant must surrender assets or funds up to the value specified by the court. Failure to comply with the order can result in further legal consequences, including a prison sentence, depending on the terms imposed by the court. Sakander was sentenced in June at Bradford Crown Court for 11 years and 7 months.

Police said the case demonstrates their efforts to disrupt the supply of dangerous drugs and target the financial proceeds generated by drug dealing. The undercover investigation was particularly significant because officers were able to obtain evidence through controlled transactions before taking action against the dealer.

The authorities continue to investigate and pursue assets linked to organised and serious drug-related offending, with the aim of removing the financial gains associated with the illegal drugs trade.
