London: Spectacular Tent Pegging Competition Draws Riders in Luton

لندن (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام – محمد نصیر راجہ، 10 جون 2026): پنجاب کے روایتی اور مقبول ترین گھڑ سواری کے کھیل نیزہ بازی (ٹینٹ پیگنگ) کے ایک شاندار اور رنگا رنگ مقابلے کا انعقاد اسٹاک ووڈ پارک، لوٹن میں کیا گیا، جس میں برطانیہ کے مختلف شہروں سے گھڑ سواروں اور تماشائیوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔

مقابلے میں حصہ لینے والے گھڑ سواروں نے اپنی غیر معمولی مہارت، گھڑ سواری کے اعلیٰ فن اور بہترین کھیل کے جذبے کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ انگلینڈ کے مختلف علاقوں سے آنے والے سواروں نے تاریخی کھیل نیزہ بازی میں اپنی صلاحیتوں کے جوہر دکھائے، جس سے یہ تقریب لوٹن میں ہونے والے بڑے ثقافتی اور کھیلوں کے اجتماعات میں شمار ہوئی۔

سینکڑوں شائقین نے مقابلے کا لطف اٹھایا اور گھڑ سواروں کی برق رفتار دوڑ، نشانے پر غیر معمولی گرفت اور نیزے کے ذریعے زمین میں نصب اہداف کو اٹھانے کی مہارت کو خوب سراہا۔ اس تقریب نے نہ صرف جنوبی ایشیائی کمیونٹی کے ثقافتی ورثے کو اجاگر کیا بلکہ صدیوں پر محیط اس روایتی کھیل کو نئی نسل تک منتقل کرنے میں بھی اہم کردار ادا کیا۔

اس موقع پر خطاب کرتے ہوئے گجر خان سے تعلق رکھنے والے معروف مذہبی و سماجی رہنما امام قاضی عبدالعزیز چشتی ایم بی ای نے منتظمین اور شرکاء کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ نیزہ بازی ایسا کھیل ہے جو نظم و ضبط، بہادری، برداشت اور ثقافتی شناخت کی عکاسی کرتا ہے۔ انہوں نے گھڑ سواروں کی محنت اور روایتی گھڑ سواری کے فن کو زندہ رکھنے کے جذبے کو سراہا۔

تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے حسین شہید سرور اور دیگر کمیونٹی رہنماؤں نے مقابلے کی کامیابی میں حصہ لینے والے کھلاڑیوں، مہمانوں، رضاکاروں اور معاونین کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ اس نوعیت کی تقریبات مختلف کمیونٹیز کو قریب لانے، ثقافتی روابط کو مضبوط بنانے اور صحت مند کھیلوں کے فروغ میں اہم کردار ادا کرتی ہیں۔
