راولپنڈی(نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم) — چکری روڈ پر مویشی منڈی کا آزمائشی طور پر آغاز کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیاہے، تین ماہ تک بیوپاریوں اور شہریوں کا رحجان قائم رہا تو مویشی منڈی کو مستقل کر دیا جائیگا۔ مویشی منڈی کیلئے جگہ کا نشاندہی کر لی گئی ہے اور ضروری قانونی کارروائی مکمل کرنے کے بعد اس کا باقاعدہ اعلان کر دیا جائیگا۔یہ بات کمشنر راولپنڈی کیپٹن (ر) محمد محمود نے راولپنڈی کیٹل مارکیٹ مینجمنٹ کمپنی کے بورڈ آف ڈائریکٹرز کے 23ویں اجلاس کی صدارت کرتے ہوئے کہی۔کمشنر نے کہا کہ گوندل مویشی منڈی، اٹک میں مزید 90کنال کے قریب زمین حاصل کرکے اس کی توسیع کی جا رہی ہے۔

Rawat; Rawalpindi Cattle Market Management Company will establish a cattle market along Chakri Road on a trial basis and if the trend of traders and citizens persists for three months, the cattle market will be made permanent.

This was informed to participants of the 23rd meeting of the company’s board of directors with Commissioner retired Capt Mohammad Mehmood in the chair.

Participants of the meeting were informed that site for the market has been identified and it will be formally announced after completion of necessary legal process. Gondal Cattle Market, Attock is also being expanded through acquisition of another 90 kanals of land after which the area of this market will be increased to 170 kanals.

The commissioner said tents are being procured for all seven cattle markets of the division for which a hefty amount of Rs3 million has been allocated; the purpose of these tents is to provide shade to cattle during summer.

He said revenue of the Cattle Market Management committee has increased by Rs1.5 million in the last two months. This will provide more facilities in markets.

Offices in containers will be set up for staff of Cattle Market Management Company in cattle markets of Dina and Chakwal. He said increase in revenue would provide maximum facilities to traders and the general public.

Various agenda points, including salaries of daily wage staff were discussed in detail in the meeting.
