London; Imran Akram, of Wilsden, jailed for dangerous driving

لندن کے علاقے ولزڈن کے رہائشی عمران اکرم کو خطرناک ڈرائیونگ اور پکڑے جانے پر جھوٹی آئی ڈی دینے کے جرم میں جیل بھیج دیا گیا۔ پولیس کے مطابق جب پولیس نے عمران کو خطرناک ڈرائیونگ کے جرم میں روکا تو اس کی گاڑی سے کینابس کی بو آرہی تھی۔ جب پولیس نے  ٹیسٹ کیا تو وہ بھی پازیٹو تھا۔ مگر عمران نے پولیس کو غلط آئی ڈی بتائی۔ پولیس عمران کو تھانے لے گئی جہاں اس نے پولیس کو خون کا سیمپل دینے سے انکار کیا۔ پولیس کو انصاف کی فراہمی سے روکنے اور غلط شناخت بتا کر گمراہ کرنے کے جرم میں عمران پر فرد جرم ثابت ہو گئی۔ اسے ڈرائیونگ سے ڈس کوالیفائی کر کے چھ سال کے لئے ڈرائیونگ سے بین کر دیا گیا۔

London; Imran Akram with a long history of offending has been locked up after lying to police about who he was after being pulled over for drug driving.

Imran Mohammed Akram, 36, of West Royd, Wilsden, was serving a suspended sentence for dangerous driving when officers pulled him over in the early hours of March 20, this year.

He was stopped in a red Volkswagen Golf and gave false details to police. Officers could smell cannabis and a road-side test returned a positive result.

However, when he was taken to Trafalgar House police station he refused to give a blood sample.

He was charged for failing to provide a sample under the false name, but Akram’s real identity became clear and he was also charged with perverting the course of justice, driving while disqualified and breaching a suspended sentence. Akram was also banned from driving for six years and one month.
