Rawat: Father and son shot dead in Rawat area over land dispute

ابتدائی تفتیش کے مطابق ملزمان شبیر، صغیر، کامران وغیرہ نے زمین کے تنازع پر اپنے کزن منیر اور اس کے بیٹے احسن کو فائرنگ کرکے قتل کردیا۔ جائے وقوعہ سے شواہد اکٹھے کیے جا رہے ہیں، واقعے کی تمام زاویوں سے تفتیش کی جا رہی ہے۔
واقعہ کی اطلاع ملتے ہی روات پولیس موقع پر پہنچ گئی۔ لاشوں کو پوسٹ مارٹم کے لیے اسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے جب کہ ذمہ داروں کی گرفتاری کے لیے تفتیش جاری ہے۔
کمیونٹی رہنماؤں نے پرسکون رہنے کی اپیل کی ہے اور رہائشیوں پر زور دیا ہے کہ وہ قانون کو اپنے ہاتھ میں لینے سے گریز کریں۔ انہوں نے اس طرح کے المناک نتائج کو روکنے کے لیے قانونی ذرائع سے تنازعات کو حل کرنے کی اہمیت پر زور دیا۔
پولیس نے امن و امان برقرار رکھنے اور تشدد کے مزید بڑھتے ہوئے واقعات کو روکنے کے لیے علاقے میں اپنی موجودگی بڑھا دی ہے۔ وہ کسی بھی گواہ سے یہ بھی اپیل کر رہے ہیں کہ وہ ایسی معلومات کے ساتھ سامنے آئیں جو تفتیش میں مدد کر سکیں۔
