Gujar Khan: Alleged Torture of Overseas Pakistani Sparks Controversy, Police Deny Claims

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — 29 دسمبر 2025) — گوجر خان کے علاقے قاضیاں چوکی کی حدود میں ایک اورسیز پاکستانی حسن نے الزام عائد کیا ہے کہ اسے چار گھنٹے تک بدترین تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا گیا، تاہم واقعے کو تین دن گزر جانے کے باوجود مقدمہ درج نہیں کیا گیا، جس سے پولیس کی کارکردگی پر سوالات اٹھنے لگے ہیں۔

متاثرہ شخص کے مطابق عدنان، آصف، حمزہ، اختر اور پانچ نامعلوم افراد نے اسے جان سے مارنے کی نیت سے تشدد کا نشانہ بنایا۔ حسن کا کہنا ہے کہ ملزمان اسے صلح پر مجبور کر رہے ہیں اور قانونی کارروائی کی صورت میں جان سے مارنے کی دھمکیاں بھی دے رہے ہیں۔

دوسری جانب گوجر خان پولیس نے ان الزامات کو مسترد کر دیا ہے۔ تھانہ گوجر خان کے ایس ایچ او مرزا طیب ظہیر بیگ کے مطابق زیرِ گردش خبر یکطرفہ اور حقائق کے برعکس ہے۔ پولیس کا مؤقف ہے کہ مذکورہ شخص مبینہ طور پر دیوار پھلانگ کر ایک نجی گھر میں داخل ہوا اور وہاں موجود لڑکی کو ہراساں کیا، جس پر اہلِ خانہ نے اسے قابو میں لیا۔

ایس ایچ او کے مطابق پولیس نے بروقت کارروائی کرتے ہوئے متاثرہ شخص کا میڈیکل معائنہ کروایا اور واقعے کی مکمل انکوائری شروع کر دی ہے۔ پولیس حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ تمام فریقین کے بیانات قلمبند کیے جا رہے ہیں اور شواہد کی روشنی میں جو بھی قصوروار ثابت ہوا، اس کے خلاف قانون کے مطابق بلاامتیاز کارروائی کی جائے گی۔ پولیس نے اس عزم کا اظہار کیا ہے کہ وہ غیرجانبدار رہتے ہوئے قانون کے تقاضوں کے مطابق فرائض انجام دے رہی ہے

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com — December 29, 2025): An overseas Pakistani, Hassan, has alleged that he was subjected to four hours of severe torture within the limits of Qazian Checkpost, Gujjar Khan. According to the victim, despite three days passing since the incident, no First Information Report (FIR) has been registered, raising serious questions about police performance. He claims the accused named Adnan, Asif, Hamza, Akhtar, along with five unidentified individuals, tortured him with intent to kill and are now pressuring him to settle the matter while issuing life threats.

However, Gujjar Khan Police have rejected these allegations. SHO Mirza Tayyab Zahir Baig stated that the news circulating is one-sided and contrary to facts. According to the police, the individual allegedly entered a private house by climbing a wall and harassed a girl, after which the family restrained him. The SHO said police responded promptly, arranged a medical examination, and initiated a detailed inquiry.

Police officials maintain that statements of all parties are being recorded and that legal action will be taken strictly in accordance with the law against whoever is found guilty, emphasizing that the police remain neutral and committed to due process.
