Gujar Khan: Four Arrested for Gambling on Partridge Fights in Jatli

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام — 21 دسمبر 2025)—جاتلی پولیس نے قمار بازی کے خلاف کارروائی کرتے ہوئے تیتروں کی لڑائی پر جوا کھیلنے میں ملوث چار افراد کو گرفتار کر لیا، کارروائی کے دوران ملزمان کے قبضے سے داؤ پر لگی رقم 19 ہزار 700 روپے، پانچ تیتر اور چار موبائل فون برآمد کیے گئے۔

ترجمان پولیس کے مطابق اطلاع ملنے پر جاتلی پولیس نے کارروائی کرتے ہوئے موقع سے جوا کھیلنے والے افراد کو حراست میں لیا، گرفتار ملزمان کے خلاف قمار بازی ایکٹ کے تحت مقدمہ درج کر کے مزید قانونی کارروائی شروع کر دی گئی ہے۔

ایس پی صدر انعم شیر نے کہا کہ قمار بازی معاشرتی برائیوں کی جڑ ہے جو نہ صرف نوجوان نسل کو گمراہ کرتی ہے بلکہ معاشرے میں جرائم کے فروغ کا بھی باعث بنتی ہے۔ انہوں نے واضح کیا کہ قمار بازی یا کسی بھی غیر قانونی سرگرمی میں ملوث افراد قانون کی گرفت سے نہیں بچ سکتے۔ راولپنڈی پولیس عوام کے جان و مال کے تحفظ اور معاشرے سے جرائم کے خاتمے کے لیے پرعزم ہے اور اس سلسلے میں بلاامتیاز کارروائیاں جاری رہیں گی۔

Jatli Police carried out a successful operation against gambling and arrested four individuals involved in betting on partridge fights. During the raid, police recovered Rs 19,700 in cash placed as bets, five partridges, and four mobile phones from the suspects.

According to a police spokesperson, the action was taken after receiving credible information. The accused were apprehended at the spot while gambling. A case has been registered against them under the Gambling Act, and further legal proceedings are underway.

SP Saddar Anum Sher stated that gambling is a serious social evil that not only misleads the younger generation but also contributes to the rise of crime in society. She emphasised that those involved in gambling or any other illegal activities will not escape the law. Rawalpindi Police remain committed to the protection of life and property of citizens and to eliminating crime from society through indiscriminate action.
