Gujar Khan: Police Raid Illegal Gambling Dressed as Cockfighting in Sangni

بیول، گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، راجہ طارق ایوب —18 دسمبر 2025) —بیول کے نواحی علاقے سنگنی میں مرغوں کی لڑائی کی آڑ میں جاری جوئے کے خلاف پولیس چوکی قاضیاں نے بروقت کارروائی کرتے ہوئے اچانک چھاپہ مار دیا، جس کے نتیجے میں جوئے میں ملوث متعدد افراد موقع سے فرار ہونے میں کامیاب ہو گئے تاہم پولیس نے جائے وقوعہ سے قیمتی موٹر سائیکلیں اور گاڑیاں تحویل میں لے کر شواہد محفوظ کر لیے؛ ذرائع کے مطابق مرغوں کی لڑائی کے نام پر لاکھوں روپے کی رقم داؤ پر لگائی جا رہی تھی جبکہ اس غیر قانونی سرگرمی کے خلاف مقامی سطح پر شکایات بھی موصول ہو رہی تھیں، پولیس کا کہنا ہے کہ فرار ہونے والے ملزمان کی نشاندہی کا عمل جاری ہے اور انہیں جلد گرفتار کر کے قانونی تقاضے مکمل کرنے کے بعد مقدمہ درج کر کے مزید کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے گی۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, Raja Tariq Ayub — 18 December 2025) — Police from Qaziyan police station conducted a timely raid in the Sangni area near Biaul against illegal gambling being conducted under the guise of cockfighting. During the operation, several individuals involved in the gambling managed to flee the scene. However, police seized valuable motorcycles and vehicles from the location as evidence.

According to sources, large sums of money were being wagered under the pretext of cockfighting, and complaints about this illegal activity had been received from the local community. Police officials stated that efforts are ongoing to identify and apprehend the suspects who escaped. Once caught, legal proceedings will be initiated against them, and further action will be taken according to the law.
