Rawat Police Arrest Proclaimed Offender in Well-Dumping Murder Case

رواں سال کے آغاز میں پولیس کو ایک کنویں سے ایک نامعلوم شخص کی نعش ملی تھی۔ ابتدائی طبی اور فرانزک معائنے میں یہ بات سامنے آئی کہ مقتول کو فائرنگ کر کے قتل کیا گیا اور پھر نعش کو چھپانے کے لیے کنویں میں پھینک دیا گیا۔ واقعہ کے وقت شناخت نہ ہونے کے باعث راوٹ پولیس نے اپریل میں یہ مقدمہ ریاست کی مدعیت میں درج کیا تھا۔

تفتیش کے دوران پولیس نے جدید ٹیکنیکل ذرائع، فرانزک شواہد اور مختلف شواہد کی روشنی میں مقتول کی شناخت نعیم اختر کے نام سے کی جو تلہ گنگ کا رہائشی تھا۔ پولیس ٹیم نے محنت اور تسلسل سے کوششیں جاری رکھتے ہوئے اس واردات میں ملوث اشتہاری ملزم کا سراغ لگا لیا۔

بالآخرروات پولیس نے کارروائی کرتے ہوئے اشتہاری کو گرفتار کر لیا۔ دورانِ تفتیش ملزم نے اعتراف کیا کہ اس نے ذاتی رنجش کی بنیاد پر نعیم اختر کو قتل کیا اور جرم کو چھپانے کے لیے نعش کنویں میں پھینک دی۔

Kallar Syedan (Pothwar.com – Ikram ul Haq Qureshi | December 10, 2025) —Rawat Police have successfully arrested a proclaimed offender involved in a brutal murder case in which a citizen was killed, and his body was thrown into a well.

Earlier this year, police recovered a body from a well. Initial examination revealed that the victim had been shot dead before being disposed of. Following this discovery, Rawat Police registered a murder case in April, submitting the FIR on behalf of the state as the victim’s identity was unknown at the time.

During the course of the investigation, police were able to identify the deceased as Naeem Akhtar, a resident of Talagang. The investigative team pursued multiple leads and, through technical and forensic methods, traced the suspect involved in the killing.

After extensive effort, police succeeded in arresting the proclaimed offender wanted in the case. During interrogation, the suspect confessed to the crime, stating that he had murdered Naeem Akhtar due to personal enmity and later dumped the body in a well in an attempt to conceal evidence.

Police officials have lauded the investigation team for their exceptional performance, reaffirming their commitment to ensuring justice and maintaining law and order.
