Oslo, Norway; “Historic Initiative by Drammen Mosque — 70,000 NOK Raised for Khatam Nabowat Project”

اوسلو —ناروے(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — عقیل قادر,| 09 دسمبر، 2025) —گزشتہ جمعہ درامن مسجد میں ختمِ نبوت ﷺ پروجیکٹ کے سلسلے میں ایک خصوصی فنڈ ریزنگ مہم منعقد ہوئی، جس میں نمازیوں اور مقامی کمیونٹی نے غیر معمولی جوش و جذبے کا مظاہرہ کیا۔ اسلامک لٹریچر سوسائٹی ناروے کے قائم مقام صدر اظہر اقبال اور فنانس سیکریٹری ابرار یعقوب نے مسجد کا دورہ کیا اور پروجیکٹ کے مقاصد، ترجیحات اور جاری تحقیقی و اشاعتی کام کے حوالے سے تفصیلی بریفنگ پیش کی۔

امام و خطیب مفتی اویس ملک اور مسجد کی پوری انتظامیہ نے مہمانوں کا بھرپور خیرمقدم کیا۔ بریفنگ کے بعد کی جانے والی مختصر اپیل پر نمازیوں نے غیر معمولی فراخ دلی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے 70 ہزار نارویجن کراون عطیہ کیے۔ کمیونٹی کا یہ تعاون اس بات کا ثبوت ہے کہ ناروے میں مسلمان علمی بنیادوں پر اسلام کے درست تعارف کے لیے سنجیدہ ہیں اور ختمِ نبوت ﷺ کے عقیدے کے فروغ کے لیے عملی کردار ادا کر رہے ہیں۔

فنڈ ریزنگ میں مسجد کی انتظامیہ کے علاوہ متعدد مخیر افراد نے بھی ذاتی حیثیت میں تعاون کیا، جن میں رانا بختیار احمد، ملک شاہد اعوان، چوہدری طاہر شہزاد، محمود محمد اسجد، عاطف اقبال چوہدری، نعمان سرور، امجد فاروق چوہدری، محمد عثمان اور دیگر شامل ہیں۔

اسلامک لٹریچر سوسائٹی اس وقت نارویجن زبان میں ختمِ نبوت ﷺ پر چار تحقیقی اور جامع کتابیں مرتب کر رہی ہے، جن کا علمی و تحقیقی کام آخری مراحل میں داخل ہو چکا ہے۔ ان کتابوں کا مقصد نارویجن قارئین کو مستند دلائل، تحقیقی حوالہ جات اور آسان فہم علمی مواد فراہم کرنا ہے۔

سوسائٹی نے اس موقع پر یہ بھی اعلان کیا کہ ان چار کتابوں کا ایک جامع خلاصہ ایک علیحدہ کتاب کی شکل میں شائع کیا جائے گا، جس کی 10,000 کاپیاں عوام میں مفت تقسیم کی جائیں گی۔ اس اقدام کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ زیادہ سے زیادہ افراد تک ختمِ نبوت ﷺ کے حوالے سے صحیح اور تحقیقی معلومات پہنچ سکیں۔

پروجیکٹ کے لیے ایک خصوصی ویب سائٹ www.sisteprofeten.no
بھی تیار کی گئی ہے، جہاں تمام کتابیں آن لائن بالکل مفت دستیاب ہوں گی۔ ویب سائٹ کا مقصد یہ ہے کہ نارویجن معاشرے تک اسلام کے بارے میں درست، مستند اور سائنسی انداز میں پیش کردہ معلومات ہر سطح پر بآسانی پہنچ سکیں۔

اس پورے علمی و تحقیقی منصوبے کی تکمیل کے لیے کم از کم ایک ملین کراون درکار ہیں، جن میں اشاعت، پروف ریڈنگ، ڈیزائن، تحقیق، ویب سائٹ کی تیاری اور تقسیم کے اخراجات شامل ہیں۔ کمیونٹی سے مزید تعاون کی اپیل کی گئی ہے تاکہ یہ علمی خدمت جلد از جلد پایہ تکمیل تک پہنچ سکے۔

پروگرام کے اختتام پر قائم مقام صدر اظہر اقبال نے درا من مسجد کی انتظامیہ اور تمام مخیر حضرات کا شکریہ ادا کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ یہ پروجیکٹ نہ صرف موجودہ نسل بلکہ آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے بھی ایک مستند علمی حوالہ ثابت ہوگا، اور کمیونٹی کا تعاون ہمارے لیے حوصلے کا باعث ہے۔

Oslo, Norway (Pothwar.com — Aqil Qadir | December 09, 2025) — A special fundraising campaign was held last Friday at the Drammen Mosque as part of the Khatm-e-Nabuwwat (Finality of Prophethood ﷺ) Project, drawing an enthusiastic response from worshippers and the local Muslim community.

Acting President of the Islamic Literature Society Norway, Azhar Iqbal, along with Finance Secretary Abrar Yaqub, visited the mosque and delivered a detailed briefing on the project’s objectives, priorities, and the ongoing research and publication efforts.

Imam and Khateeb Mufti Owais Malik, along with the mosque’s full administrative team, warmly welcomed the guests. Following a short appeal after the briefing, worshippers displayed remarkable generosity, contributing 70,000 Norwegian Kroner on the spot. The strong community support highlights the commitment of Muslims in Norway to promoting an accurate, scholarly understanding of Islam and strengthening awareness about the belief in the Finality of Prophethood ﷺ.

In addition to the mosque administration, several philanthropists also contributed individually, including Rana Bakhtiar Ahmed, Malik Shahid Awan, Chaudhry Tahir Shehzad, Mahmood Muhammad Asjad, Atif Iqbal Chaudhry, Noman Sarwar, Amjad Farooq Chaudhry, Muhammad Usman, and others.

The Islamic Literature Society is currently compiling four comprehensive, research-based books on the Finality of Prophethood ﷺ in the Norwegian language. The scholarly work is now in its final stages and aims to provide Norwegian readers with authentic references, academic analysis, and accessible explanations.

The Society also announced that a concise combined summary of all four books will be published separately, with 10,000 free copies to be distributed to the public to ensure wide access to accurate information on the subject.

A dedicated project website has also been developed, where all books will be available online for free, enabling the wider Norwegian society to access credible, research-based Islamic content in a clear and scientific manner.

The entire academic and research project requires at least one million NOK, covering publishing, proofreading, design, research, website development, and distribution costs. The community has been urged to continue supporting the initiative so that it can be completed as soon as possible.

At the end of the program, Acting President Azhar Iqbal expressed gratitude to the Drammen Mosque administration and all donors, stating that the project will serve as an authentic reference not only for the current generation but also for generations to come. “The community’s support strengthens our resolve,” he added.
