Rawat: Gas Leakage Causes Explosion at Namal University; Four Injured

روات (نمائندہ پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — اکرام الحق قریشی | 03، دسمبر، 2025ء) : نمل یونیورسٹی میں اچانک دھماکے کی اطلاعات، ریسکیو ذرائع کے مطابق دھماکہ گیس لیکج کے باعث ہوا۔ دھماکے کے فوراً بعد عمارت سے دھوئیں کے بادل اٹھے اور طلبہ میں شدید خوف و ہراس پھیل گیا۔ریسکیو 1122 اور فائر بریگیڈ کی ٹیمیں موقع پر پہنچ گئیں اور آگ پر بروقت قابو پا لیا۔
ابتدائی رپورٹس میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ واقعے میں چار افراد زخمی ہوئے جنہیں فوری طور پر ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔ زخمیوں کی حالت خطرے سے باہر بتائی جا رہی ہے۔حکام کے مطابق یہ واقعہ دہشت گردی نہیں بلکہ گیس کے اخراج کے باعث پیش آیا۔ یونیورسٹی انتظامیہ نے متعلقہ بلاک کو خالی کرا کے تکنیکی ٹیموں کو معائنے کی ہدایت کر دی۔

Reports of a sudden explosion at Namal University created panic among students on Monday. According to Rescue sources, the blast occurred due to a gas leakage. Immediately after the explosion, thick clouds of smoke rose from the building, causing fear and chaos on campus.

Rescue 1122 and Fire Brigade teams swiftly reached the site and brought the fire under control in time. Initial reports confirm that four individuals were injured in the incident and were promptly shifted to a hospital, where their condition is stated to be out of danger.

Officials have clarified that the incident was not an act of terrorism, but the result of a gas leak. The university administration has evacuated the affected block and directed technical teams to conduct a detailed inspection.
