One such young achiever, Raza Ali, a Special Education Engineer from Kahuta, has once again proven the region’s potential by securing remarkable success at the Special Olympics World Games in Europe.
Raza Ali has demonstrated excellence throughout his academic journey, and his recent international achievement has brought pride to the people of Kahuta and the entire Pothohar region. In recognition of his outstanding performance, Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif awarded him a cash prize and a cheque of Rs 1 million, appreciating his hard work and dedication.
Residents of Kahuta and the wider Ghoochha Tehsil have welcomed the government’s gesture, calling it a positive and encouraging step. According to locals, talented youth like Raza Ali are a valuable national asset, and supporting them is the government’s responsibility.
The community has urged the Punjab government to ensure long-term financial support, improved educational facilities, and special employment opportunities for such exceptional individuals. They believe that these measures will not only help special athletes live with dignity but also enable them to further polish their skills.
Locals added that such initiatives strengthen the confidence of special children and promote a culture of inclusion and positivity within society.
