Kallar Syedan: Flash Flood in Choa Khalsa Causes Main Power Pole to Collapse

چوآخالصہ، کلر سیداں (چوہدری الفت، چیف ویڈیو رپورٹر، پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم | 31 اگست 2025):–گزشتہ رات موسلادھار بارش کے باعث چوآخالصہ کے علاقے میں شدید طغیانی آئی، جس کے نتیجے میں نالہ سریں میں ایک مین بجلی کا پول گر گیا۔ اس حادثے کی وجہ سے گرد و نواح کے علاقوں میں تقریباً 12 گھنٹے تک بجلی معطل رہی۔

واقعہ کے فوری بعد ایس ڈی او جنوبی چوآخالصہ، عالمگیر پراچہ نے فوری کارروائی کرتے ہوئے بجلی کی بحالی کا کام شروع کیا۔ گرنے والے پول کی مرمت اور دوبارہ نصب کرنے کے لیے راولپنڈی سے کرین منگوائی گئی۔

ایس ڈی او اور ان کی ٹیم کی ہم آہنگ کوششوں کے نتیجے میں، بارش رکنے کے صرف ایک گھنٹے کے اندر بجلی کی سپلائی بحال کر دی گئی، جس سے مقامی باشندوں اور کاروباری حضرات کو بڑی راحت ملی۔

شہریوں نے ایس ڈی او اور ٹیم کی فوری اور مؤثر کارروائی کی تعریف کی اور کہا کہ بروقت بجلی کی بحالی سے طغیانی کے دوران مزید خلل کم کرنے میں مدد ملی۔

Choa Khalsa, Kallar Syedan (Chaudhry Ulffat, Chief Video Reporter, Pothwar.com | August 31, 2025): Heavy overnight rains caused severe flooding in the Choa Khalsa area, leading to the collapse of a main electricity pole at Nala Sarin. The disruption left the surrounding areas without power for nearly 12 hours.

Following the incident, the Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) Southern Choa Khalsa, Alamgir Pracha, took immediate action to restore the electricity supply. A crane was brought in from Rawalpindi to repair and reinstall the fallen pole.

Thanks to the coordinated efforts of the SDO and his team, electricity was restored within an hour after the rains subsided, providing relief to local residents and businesses who had been affected by the outage.

Residents praised the swift and effective response, noting that the rapid restoration of power helped minimise further disruption caused by the flash flooding.
