Japan; Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz meets Japan Islamic Trust Director Ch Ghalib in Tokyo, discusses overseas Pakistanis’ issues

جاپان(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — اکرام الحق قریشی | 24,اگست، 2025):—جاپان اسلامک ٹرسٹ کے ڈائریکٹر چوہدری غالب حسین کی ٹوکیو میں وزیراعلی پنجاب مریم نواز سے ملاقات،سمندر پار پاکستانیوں کے مسائل کا بھی ذکر کیا صوبائی وزیر مریم اورنگزیب بھی ملاقات میں موجود تھیں تفصیلات کے مطابق مریم نواز کے دورہ جاپان کے موقع پر کلرسیداں سے تعلق رکھنے والے جاپان اسلامک ٹرسٹ کے ڈائریکٹر چوہدری غالب حسین نے وزیراعلی پنجاب مریم نواز سے ملاقات کی انہیں فوری جاپان پر خوش آمدید کہا اور مختلف تجاویز پیش کیں مریم نواز نے کہا کہ سمندرپار پاکستانی ہمارا اثاثہ ہیں ان کے مسائل ترجیحی بنیادوں پر حل کیئے جارہے ہیں دوطرفہ تجارت کے لیئے بھی ان کے مشاورت کی جا رہی مریم نواز نے کہا کہ وہ جاپان کی ترقی سے بیحد متاثر ہوئی ہیں کوشش کریں گی پنجاب میں بھی ترقی کے لیئے جاپان سے استفادہ کیا جائے پنجاب کی ترقی ہم سب کی اولین ترجیح ہے اس کے بعد مریم نواز نے چوہدری غالب حسین کے ہمراہ اوساکا میں منعقدہ ایکسپو 2025 میں بھی شرکت کی مریم نواز نے کہا کہ جاپان نے متاثر کن ترقی کی ہے ہمیں عوام کو درپیش مسائل کے حل کے لیئے ترقی یافتہ اقوام کے تجربات سے فائدہ اٹھانا چاہیئے پنجاب حکومت کی پوری کوشش ہے کہ پنجاب کی تیزرفتار ترقی کے لیئے چین اور جاپان کے تجربات سے استفادہ کیا جائے چوہدری غالب حسین نے مریم نواز کو این اے 51 اور پی پی 7 سے مسلم لیگی ارکان اسمبلی راجہ اسامہ سرور اور راجہ صغیر احمد کی کوششوں سے آگاہ کرتے ہوئے ان پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا چوہدری غالب حسین نے کھڈ سے بنائل کارپٹ سڑک کی منظوری اور پچاس کروڑ سے زائد کی گرانٹ فراہم کرنے پر مریم نواز کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کیا جس کے جواب میں مریم نواز نے کہا کہ ہماری کوشش ہے کہ دوردراز کے دیہات کو تمام بنیادی سہولیات مہیا کرکے شہری ابادی پر دباؤ کو روکا جائے ارکان اسمبلی کی مشاورت سے صرف شہری علاقوں میں ہی نہیں دیہات کو بھی جدید سہولیات کی فراہمی کے لیئے کوشاں ہیں۔

During her official visit to Japan, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz met with Ch. Ghalib Hussain, Director of the Japan Islamic Trust and a native of Kallar Syedan, in Tokyo. Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb was also present at the meeting.

Ch. Ghalib Hussain welcomed the Chief Minister to Japan and presented several suggestions regarding the welfare of overseas Pakistanis. Maryam Nawaz acknowledged the importance of the Pakistani diaspora, terming them a “national asset,” and assured that their issues were being addressed on a priority basis. She added that consultations were underway with expatriates to promote bilateral trade as well.

Highlighting Japan’s remarkable progress, the Chief Minister expressed her desire to utilize Japanese expertise for Punjab’s development. “Punjab’s progress is our foremost priority,” she remarked, stressing that experiences of advanced nations like Japan and China could help resolve public issues effectively.

Later, Maryam Nawaz, accompanied by Ch. Ghalib Hussain, also attended Expo 2025 held in Osaka. On this occasion, she reiterated Punjab’s commitment to rapid development, drawing lessons from Japan’s success story.

Ch. Ghalib Hussain also briefed the Chief Minister about the efforts of PML-N legislators from NA-51 and PP-7, Raja Usama Sarwar and Raja Sagheer Ahmed, which Maryam Nawaz appreciated. He thanked the Chief Minister for approving a carpeted road project from Khad and for allocating over Rs. 500 million in grants.

Maryam Nawaz responded by reaffirming her government’s resolve to extend modern facilities not only to urban centers but also to remote villages, aiming to ease pressure on city populations and improve rural living standards through consultation with local representatives.
