روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — اکرام الحق قریشی | 21,اگست، 2025):—مری ضلعی انتظامیہ نے دفعہ 144 نافذ کر دی گئی ہے۔ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق مون سون کے نئے اسپیل کی موجودہ صورتحال کے پیش نظر ضلع مری میں 17 اگست تا 23 اگست تک دفعہ 144نافذ العمل رہے گی۔ دفعہ 144 کے تحت آبشاروں اور ڈیموں پر نہانے، ندی نالوں کے قریب جانے پر مکمل پابندی عائد کر دی گئی ہے۔ دوسری جانب مون سون بارشوں اور خراب موسم کے باعث پتریاٹہ چیئرلفٹ اور کیبل کار 19 اگست تک بند رہے گی۔مون سون بارشوں اور خراب موسم کے باعث سیاحوں کی حفاظت کے پیش نظر چیئرلفٹ اور کیبل کار بند کی گئی۔ٹورازم ڈویلپمنٹ کارپوریشن پنجاب کے مطابق موسم بہتر ہونے پر بحالی کا نیا شیڈول جاری کیا جائے گا۔
Rawat (Pothwar.com — Ikram ul Haq Qureshi | August 21, 2025): The district administration of Murree has imposed Section 144 in view of the ongoing monsoon spell. According to the official notification, the restrictions will remain in effect from August 17 to August 23. Under Section 144, bathing in waterfalls and dams, as well as approaching streams and nullahs, has been strictly prohibited.
Meanwhile, due to heavy monsoon rains and bad weather, the Patriata chairlift and cable car services will remained suspended until August 19. The closure has been enforced to ensure the safety of tourists. According to the Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab, a new schedule for reopening will be announced once the weather improves.
