Rawat: NAB Assures Bahria Town Residents Their Properties and Legal Rights Are Secure

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — اکرام الحق قریشی |12,اگست، 2025):— قومی احتساب بیورو اسلام اباد نے بحریہ ٹاﺅن کے رہائشیوں کو یقین دلایا ہے کہ ان کے تمام قانونی حقوق، جائیدادیں اور سرمایہ کاری محفوظ ہے بحریہ ٹاﺅن کے چیئرمین ملک ریاض بیرون ملک مقیم ہیں جبکہ پاکستان میں ان کے اور ان کی ہاﺅسنگ سوسائٹی کے خلاف متعدد الزامات کے تحت تحقیقات جاری ہیں اور تین مقدمات میں ملک ریاض کو اشتہاری قرار دیا گیا ہے جبکہ حال ہی میں نیب نے بحریہ ٹاﺅن کی ملکیتی اربوں روپے مالیت کی چند جائیدادوں کی نیلامی کا انعقاد بھی کیا ہے.

نجی ٹی وی کے مطابق نیب کی جانب سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ کچھ مخصوص عناصر کی طرف سے پھیلائی جانے والی خبریں صرف مذکورہ لوگوں کو پریشان کرنے اور اس کی آڑ میں ان کی جائیدادوں کو کم قیمت پر خریدنے کی ایک گہری سازش ہے ادارے کا کہنا ہے کہ مذکورہ رہائشی اور مالکان بھی نیب کی نظر میں وہ متاثرین ہیں جن کے ساتھ دھوکہ دہی اور فراڈ کیا گیا ہے اور نیب ان کے حقوق کا تحفظ کرنے میں کوئی کسر نہیں چھوڑے گا.
نیب نے واضح کیا ہے کہ بحریہ ٹاﺅن کے خلاف جاری کارروائیاں ان کے مالکان اور ان کی جائیدادوں تک محدود ہیں اور نیب نے اس بات کا تہیہ کیا ہوا کہ جب تک یہ لوگ قانون کے آگے پیش ہو کر لوٹی ہوءرقوم واپس نہیں کرتے، نیب اپنی قانونی کارروائیاں بغیر کسی دباﺅ کے جاری رکھے گا . بیان میں کہا گیا ہے کہ نیب کی طرف سے تمام رہائشی اور مالکان جائیداد کو تاکید کی جاتی ہے کہ وہ کسی بھی منفی اور شرانگیز معلومات یا خبر پر دھیان نہ دیں اور سکون کے ساتھ اپنے معمولات زندگی جاری رکھیں اور کسی بھی مشکوک عمل کے بارے میں فوری طور نیب کو آگاہ کریں.
واضح رہے کہ حال ہی میں وفاقی وزیر اطلاعات عطا اللہ تارڑ نے دعویٰ کیا تھاکہ وفاقی تحقیقاتی ادارے کو ایک جاری تفتیش میں ملک ریاض اور بحریہ ٹاﺅن کے خلاف ایک ارب روپے سے زائد کی مبینہ منی لانڈرنگ کے ثبوت ملے ہیں جس پر مزید تفتیش جاری ہے.

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Islamabad has reassured the residents and property owners of Bahria Town that their legal rights, properties, and investments are fully protected. The statement comes amid ongoing investigations against Bahria Town and its chairman, Malik Riaz, who is currently residing abroad.

Malik Riaz has been declared an absconder in three cases, and NAB has recently auctioned off several properties owned by Bahria Town worth billions of rupees. Despite the ongoing legal actions, NAB emphasised that these are strictly limited to the owners and the management of the housing society.

In an official statement, NAB clarified that rumors being circulated by certain individuals are part of a malicious campaign aimed at causing panic among residents and acquiring their properties at undervalued prices. NAB considers Bahria Town residents and property holders as victims of fraud and deception, and assured that it is committed to protecting their rights without compromise.

The bureau stated that its actions are focused solely on recovering looted public funds from those responsible and that the legal proceedings will continue without external pressure until justice is served.

Residents have been advised not to pay attention to misleading or provocative information and to carry on with their daily lives peacefully. NAB also encouraged them to report any suspicious activity or misinformation directly to the authorities.

It is worth mentioning that Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar recently claimed that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has uncovered evidence of over one billion rupees in alleged money laundering involving Malik Riaz and Bahria Town, and further investigation is underway.
