کلرسیداں میں 5.1 شدت کا زلزلہ، مرکز روات، شہری کلمہ طیبہ کا ورد کرتے ہوئے گھروں سے باہر نکل آئے
کلر سیداں (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — اکرام الحق قریشی | 03,اگست، 2025):— کلرسیداں اور گرد و نواح میں ہفتہ کی رات 12 بج کر 10 منٹ پر زلزلے کے شدید جھٹکے محسوس کیے گئے۔ زلزلہ پیما مرکز کے مطابق زلزلے کی شدت 5.1 ریکارڈ کی گئی، جبکہ اس کا مرکز راولپنڈی کے نواحی علاقے روات میں تھا۔ زلزلے کی گہرائی 10 کلومیٹر زیرِ زمین تھی۔
زلزلے کے جھٹکے محسوس ہوتے ہی شہری خوفزدہ ہو گئے اور گھروں سے باہر نکل آئے۔ بیشتر افراد کلمہ طیبہ کا ورد کرتے ہوئے کھلے میدانوں اور سڑکوں پر جمع ہو گئے۔ خوش قسمتی سے کسی جانی یا مالی نقصان کی اطلاع موصول نہیں ہوئی، تاہم خوف و ہراس کی فضا قائم رہی۔
یہ امر قابل ذکر ہے کہ گزشتہ رات بھی تقریباً 2 بجے زلزلے کے جھٹکے محسوس کیے گئے تھے، اور صرف 22 گھنٹوں کے اندر یہ دوسرا زلزلہ ہے جس نے شہریوں کو شدید پریشانی میں مبتلا کر دیا ہے۔ مقامی انتظامیہ نے شہریوں سے اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ افواہوں سے گریز کریں اور کسی بھی ہنگامی صورتِ حال میں فوری طور پر ریسکیو اداروں سے رابطہ کریں۔
زلزلہ پیما ماہرین کے مطابق یہ آفٹر شاکس کا سلسلہ ہو سکتا ہے، اور شہریوں کو احتیاط برتنے کی ہدایت دی گئی ہے۔

A strong earthquake struck Kallar Syedan and surrounding areas late Saturday night at exactly 12:10 AM. According to the Seismological Center, the earthquake measured 5.1 on the Richter scale, with its epicenter located near Rawat, a suburban area of Rawalpindi. The quake occurred at a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the surface.
As soon as the tremors were felt, residents rushed out of their homes in panic. Many were seen reciting Kalma Tayyaba while gathering in open spaces and streets. Fortunately, no loss of life or property has been reported so far, but the quake caused widespread fear and anxiety among the local population.
It is worth noting that a similar tremor was felt the previous night at around 2:00 AM. This marks the second earthquake in just 22 hours, intensifying public concern across the region.
Local authorities have urged residents to stay calm, avoid spreading rumors, and contact rescue services immediately in case of any emergency.
Seismologists have suggested that these could be aftershocks, and have advised citizens to remain cautious and stay in safe locations.
