Gujar Khan: 10-Year-Old Boy Rescued from Floodwaters in Narali Village After Heavy Rain

گوجرخان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، محمد نجیب جرال۔ 18 جولائی 2025) نڑالی گاؤں میں شدید بارش کے باعث گلیوں میں پانی کا بہاؤ خطرناک حد تک بڑھ گیا۔ پانی کے تیز دباؤ کے باعث ایک 10 سالہ بچہ، عبدالقادر، اچانک بہہ گیا۔ واقعہ نے گاؤں میں خوف و ہراس کی فضا پیدا کر دی۔

عینی شاہدین کے مطابق عبدالقادر کھیلتے ہوئے اچانک گلی میں بہتے پانی میں گر گیا اور پانی کی شدت کے باعث بہتا چلا گیا۔ مقامی افراد نے فوری طور پر ریسکیو کارروائی کرتے ہوئے بچے کو بڑی مشکل سے بچایا۔ فوری طور پر ابتدائی طبی امداد دی گئی اور بعد ازاں بچے کو دولتالہ ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا، جہاں ڈاکٹرز نے مکمل چیک اپ اور علاج کے بعد اُسے گھر روانہ کر دیا۔

واقعے کے بعد گاؤں میں والدین میں شدید تشویش کی لہر دوڑ گئی ہے، لوگوں نے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ نکاسیٔ آب کے نظام کو بہتر بنایا جائے تاکہ مستقبل میں اس قسم کے خطرناک واقعات سے بچا جا سکے۔

Due to the strong current, a 10-year-old boy named Abdul Qadir was suddenly swept away by the floodwaters. The incident created fear and panic in the village.

According to eyewitnesses, Abdul Qadir was playing when he accidentally fell into the flowing water in the street and was carried away by the strong current. Local residents immediately launched a rescue operation and, after great difficulty, saved the boy. He was given first aid on site and later transferred to Doltala Hospital, where doctors conducted a full checkup and treatment before sending him home.

Following the incident, parents in the village expressed deep concern and demanded improvements in the drainage system to prevent such dangerous events in the future.

گوجرخان(پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، محمد نجیب جرال۔ 18 جولائی 2025) نڑالی کے محلہ جرال ٹاؤن میں بجلی کی مین لائن کا کھمبا مقامی آبادی کے لیے خطرے کی علامت بن گیا ہے۔ واپڈا کی جانب سے جو پول ایک مٹی کے اونچے ٹیلے پر نصب کیا گیا تھا، حالیہ شدید بارشوں کے باعث اس ٹیلے کی مٹی تیزی سے کھسکنے لگی ہے، جس کے نتیجے میں کھمبے کے گرنے کا خدشہ پیدا ہو گیا ہے۔

مقامی رہائشیوں کا کہنا ہے کہ اگر یہ کھمبا گر گیا تو اس پر لٹکی ہائی وولٹیج کی تاریں کسی بھی وقت کسی بڑے سانحے کا باعث بن سکتی ہیں، جو قیمتی انسانی جانوں کے ضیاع پر منتج ہو سکتا ہے۔ علاقے کے لوگ شدید خوف و ہراس کا شکار ہیں، جبکہ بچوں اور بزرگوں کو گھروں سے نکلنے میں بھی جھجک محسوس ہو رہی ہے۔

سیاسی، سماجی اور عوامی حلقوں نے واپڈا کے اعلیٰ افسران اور آئیسکو دولتالہ سے اپیل کی ہے کہ کھمبے کی موجودہ خطرناک جگہ سے فوری منتقلی یقینی بنائی جائے تاکہ کسی بھی ناگہانی آفت سے بچا جا سکے۔عوام کا کہنا ہے کہ اس معاملے پر مزید تاخیر سنگین نتائج کا باعث بن سکتی ہے، لہٰذا فوری کارروائی وقت کی اہم ضرورت ہے۔

The pole, installed by WAPDA on a high mound of soil, has become unstable due to heavy recent rains, causing the soil beneath it to erode rapidly. This has raised fears that the pole may collapse at any moment.

Local residents warn that if the pole falls, the high-voltage wires hanging from it could cause a major disaster, potentially resulting in loss of precious lives. The community is gripped by fear, with children and elderly residents hesitant to leave their homes.

Political, social, and public groups have appealed to senior officials of WAPDA and IESCO Daultala to immediately relocate the pole from its dangerous position to prevent any unforeseen tragedy. The public emphasises that any further delay in addressing the issue could lead to serious consequences, making urgent action a critical necessity.
