Rawat: Punjab Government Tightens Loan Repayment Deadline Under “Kisan Khushhal, Pakistan Khushhal” Program

روات (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم، اکرام الحق قریشی –13،مئی، 2025) — ڈویژنل ڈائریکٹر محکمہ زراعت توسیع راولپنڈی سید شاہد افتخار بخار ی نے کہا ہے کہ حکومت پنجاب کاشتکاروں کی فلاح اور ترقی کےلئے انقلابی اقدامات اٹھا رہی ہے۔ مریم نواز شریف کے پروگرام “کسان خوشحال پاکستان خوشحال”کے تحت جن کاشتکاروں نے کسان کارڈ کے ذریعے قرضہ لے رکھا ہے اگر وہ 15 مئی سے قبل واپس نہیں کریں گے تو ان کو اگلی فصل کےلئے قرضہ نہیں ملے گا اور مستقبل میں ایسے کاشتکار کسی بھی حکومتی سکیم کےلئے اہل نہیں ہونگے اور ان کی زمینیں بھی رہن رکھ لی جائیں گی۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ حکومت پنجاب نے پہلے بلا سود قرض کی حد ڈیڈھ لاکھ سے بڑھا کر تین لاکھ کر دی ہے اسی طرح پہلے فیز میں ملکیتی اراضی کی حد ایک سے ساڑھے 12 ایکٹر تھی جسے بڑھا کر اب ایک تا 25 ایکٹر کر دیا گیا ہے ۔انہوں نے کہا کہ کسان کارڈ سے لیا گیا قرضہ اگر 15 مئی سے قبل واپس جمع نہ کروانے کی صورت میں کاشتکاروں کو 29 فیصد جرمانے کیساتھ ساتھ اس کا ایک ایکٹر رقبہ بھی رہن رکھ لیا جائے گا۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ جو کاشتکار قرضہ واپس کر چکے ہیں انہیں فیز 2 میں دو گنا رقم ملنا شروع ہو جائے گی۔

Divisional Director Agriculture Extension Rawalpindi, Syed Shahid Iftikhar Bukhari, has announced that the Punjab government is taking revolutionary steps for the welfare and progress of farmers under Maryam Nawaz Sharif’s initiative “Kisan Khushhal, Pakistan Khushhal.”

He emphasized that farmers who have taken loans through the Kisan Card must repay them by May 15; otherwise, they will be ineligible for loans for the next crop and barred from future government schemes. Additionally, their land may be mortgaged as a consequence.

The director stated that the interest-free loan limit has been increased from Rs. 150,000 to Rs. 300,000, and the eligible landholding range has expanded from 1–12.5 acres to 1–25 acres in the first phase.

Failure to repay the loan by the deadline will result in a 29% penalty, and one acre of the farmer’s land will be mortgaged. However, those who have already repaid their loans will receive double the loan amount in Phase 2 of the program.
