Gujar Khan: Waqas Hussain Embraces Martyrdom While Repelling Terrorist Attack

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام | 27 جولائی 2026): ضلع ٹانک میں پاک فوج کی ایک چیک پوسٹ پر دہشت گردوں کے بزدلانہ حملے کا جوانمردی سے مقابلہ کرتے ہوئے پاک فوج کے بہادر سپاہی وقار حسین جامِ شہادت نوش کر گئے۔ انہوں نے دورانِ ڈیوٹی غیر معمولی بہادری، جرات اور فرض شناسی کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے وطنِ عزیز کے دفاع میں اپنی جان کا نذرانہ پیش کیا۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق دہشت گردوں نے ضلع ٹانک میں قائم سیکیورٹی چیک پوسٹ کو نشانہ بنانے کی غرض سے حملہ کیا۔ حملے کے دوران سپاہی وقار حسین نے نہایت دلیری اور استقامت کے ساتھ دشمن کا مقابلہ کیا اور انتہائی خطرناک صورتحال میں بھی اپنی ذمہ داری احسن انداز میں نبھاتے ہوئے حملہ آوروں کی مزاحمت کی۔ وطن کی سلامتی اور خودمختاری کے دفاع میں لڑتے ہوئے وہ شہادت کے عظیم مرتبے پر فائز ہوئے۔

شہید سپاہی وقار حسین کا تعلق گاؤں موہڑہ شیخاں (داخلی کونتریلہ)، تحصیل گوجر خان سے تھا۔ ان کی عظیم قربانی کو حب الوطنی، جرات، ایثار اور قومی خدمت کی اعلیٰ مثال قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔ مادرِ وطن کے دفاع کے لیے ان کا خون ہمیشہ قوم کے لیے بہادری اور قربانی کی روشن علامت کے طور پر یاد رکھا جائے گا۔

شہید کی نمازِ جنازہ 25 جولائی 2026 کو ان کے آبائی گاؤں میں ادا کی گئی، جس میں پاک فوج کے اعلیٰ افسران، جوانوں، اہلِ خانہ، معززینِ علاقہ اور شہریوں کی بڑی تعداد نے شرکت کی۔ نمازِ جنازہ کے موقع پر فضا سوگوار رہی جبکہ شرکاء نے شہید کی قربانی کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا۔

بعد ازاں پاک فوج کے چاک و چوبند دستے نے شہید کو مکمل فوجی اعزاز کے ساتھ سلامی پیش کی۔ فوجی اعزاز کے ساتھ تدفین کے دوران ہر آنکھ اشکبار تھی اور حاضرین نے وطن کے اس بہادر سپوت کو بھرپور خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے سپردِ خاک کیا۔

شہید وقار حسین کی قربانی دہشت گردی کے خلاف پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کے غیر متزلزل عزم کی عکاس ہے۔ ان کی بہادری، فرض شناسی اور وطن سے محبت آنے والی نسلوں کے لیے مشعلِ راہ رہے گی، جبکہ قوم ان کی لازوال قربانی کو ہمیشہ عزت، احترام اور فخر کے ساتھ یاد رکھے گی۔

His funeral prayers were offered in his native village on July 25, 2026, where a large number of Pakistan Army officers, soldiers, relatives, local dignitaries, and residents gathered to pay their final respects. The solemn ceremony reflected the nation’s gratitude for the martyr’s supreme sacrifice.

A smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Army presented a full military guard of honour to the fallen soldier. Following the funeral prayers, Shaheed Waqas Hussain was laid to rest with full military honours amid a sombre atmosphere, as mourners bid a tearful farewell to the brave son of the soil.
