Rawat: ATV’s senior reporter, Mazhar Iqbal, tragically lost his life in a road accident

روات (پوٹھوارڈاٹ کام — اکرام الحق قریشی | 24 ستمبر 2025): اے ٹی وی کے سینئر رپورٹر مظہر اقبال ٹریفک حادثے میں جاں بحق ہو گئے۔

تفصیلات کے مطابق مرحوم اپنے گھر جا رہے تھے کہ راوت ٹی چوک کے قریب ان کی موٹر سائیکل سلپ ہو کر سڑک کنارے بنے بیریئر سے ٹکرا گئی۔ حادثے کے نتیجے میں مظہر اقبال کے سر پر شدید چوٹیں آئیں جو جان لیوا ثابت ہوئیں۔

مظہر اقبال شعبہ صحافت میں ایک قابلِ احترام اور محنتی صحافی کے طور پر جانے جاتے تھے۔ ان کی ناگہانی موت پر ساتھی صحافیوں، دوستوں اور اہلِ قلم نے گہرے دکھ اور رنج کا اظہار کیا ہے۔

مرحوم کی نمازِ جنازہ پاکستان اٹامک انرجی ایمپلائز ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی، راوت میں ادا کی گئی۔

According to details, the late journalist was on his way home when his motorcycle slipped near Rawat T-Chowk and collided with a roadside barrier. The severe head injury he sustained in the crash proved fatal.

Mazhar Iqbal was a respected figure in the journalistic community, known for his dedication and professionalism in reporting. His untimely death has been widely mourned by colleagues, friends, and members of the media fraternity.

His funeral prayer was held at the Pakistan Atomic Energy Employees Housing Society, Rawat.
