Gujar Khan: Severe Traffic Jam in Daultala as Slow Drainage Construction Adds to Citizens’ Woes

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 20 ستمبر 2025) — دولتالہ میں آج شدید ٹریفک جام کے باعث شہریوں کو سخت مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ مقامی ذرائع کے مطابق یہ صورتحال جاری نالوں کی تعمیر کے باعث مزید بگڑ گئی ہے، جو نہایت سست رفتاری سے مکمل ہو رہی ہے۔

رہائشیوں اور مسافروں نے شدید برہمی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ادھورا کام مرکزی سڑکوں کو تنگ کر رہا ہے، جس کے باعث گاڑیوں کے گزرنے کے لیے ناکافی جگہ بچی ہے۔ اس وجہ سے رش کے اوقات میں لمبی قطاریں لگ جاتی ہیں، جس سے دفاتر جانے والے ملازمین، اسکول کے طلبہ اور ایمرجنسی گاڑیاں بری طرح متاثر ہو رہی ہیں۔

تاجروں اور دکانداروں نے بھی شکایت کی کہ گاہکوں کی آمد کم ہو گئی ہے کیونکہ مارکیٹوں تک رسائی انتہائی دشوار ہو چکی ہے۔ شہریوں نے متعلقہ حکام پر کڑی تنقید کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ اگر تعمیراتی کام کی رفتار نہ بڑھائی گئی تو آنے والے برسات کے موسم میں مسائل مزید سنگین ہو جائیں گے۔

علاقہ مکینوں نے انتظامیہ سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ منصوبے کو تیزی سے مکمل کیا جائے اور اس دوران ٹریفک کے متبادل انتظامات فراہم کیے جائیں۔

ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ نالوں کی تعمیر دولتالہ کے لیے ایک اہم ترقیاتی منصوبہ ہے، لیکن ناقص منصوبہ بندی اور بروقت عملدرآمد نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے یہ منصوبہ عوام کے لیے وبالِ جان بن گیا ہے۔

Shopkeepers and business owners in the area also complained about declining customer footfall, pointing out that access to markets has become increasingly difficult. Many citizens criticised the concerned authorities for not speeding up the drainage construction, warning that if the work continues at this pace, the problem could worsen with the upcoming rainy season.

Locals urged the administration to take immediate action to accelerate the project and provide alternative traffic management solutions until the drainage work is completed.
