Gujar Khan; Man arrested for honour killing at Kachari Chauk

گوجر خان (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کام، 24 نومبر، 2023)— لڑکی بھگانے پر دن دیہاڑی قتل کی واردات پر دو بھائیوں نے فائرنگ کر کے افراسیاب نامی شخص کو قتل کر دیا تھا۔ ایک ملزم موقع سے گرفتار۔ کچہری چوک ویٹرنری ہسپتال کے سامنے افراسیاب ولد مظہر حسین سکنہ گُڑھا سلیم سنگوی کو اسی گاؤں کے رہائشی دو افراد محمد شہزاد اور محمد نواز ولد ربنواز بٹ نے فائرنگ کر کے قتل کر دیا تھا۔ وجہ عناد مقتول نے مزکورہ بالا ملزمان کی بہن کو بھگا کر شادی کی تھی۔ جس کا ملزمان کو رنج تھا فائرنگ کے بعد ایک ملزم کو موقع سے پکڑ کر پولیس کے حوالے کر دیا گیا جبکہ دوسرا ملزم موقع سے فرار ہو گیا۔ قتل ہونے والے شخص کی نعش کو سول ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے۔

Gujar Khan (Pothwar.com, November 24, 2023) — In a shocking incident, two brothers opened fire in broad daylight, resulting in the murder of a man named Afrasiab, who was allegedly involved in the abduction of a girl. One suspect has been apprehended at the scene. The incident took place near Kuchhri Chowk, in front of the Veterinary Hospital, Gujar Khan.

Afrasiab, son of Mazar Hussain, resident of Gurha Saleem Sangoi, was fatally shot by the two residents of the same village, Muhammad Shahzad and Muhammad Nawaz, sons of Rab Nawaz Butt. The motive behind the killing was reported to be a personal dispute, as the deceased had allegedly abducted the sister of the accused for marriage, causing distress to the suspects.

Following the shooting, one suspect was captured at the scene and handed over to the police. The second suspect managed to escape from the scene. The body of the deceased has been transported to a civil Hospital. The incident underscores the need for addressing personal disputes through legal means and highlights the tragic consequences that can result from acts of violence.
