London/Gujar Khan: Illegal Land Grabbing and Theft of Construction Materials from Overseas Pakistani’s Property

برطانیہ میں مقیم ایک اوورسیز پاکستانی راجہ توفیق، جن کا تعلق موہڑی راجگان، تحصیل گوجر خان (تھانہ جاتلی کی حدود) سے ہے، نے انسپکٹر جنرل پولیس پنجاب، لاہور کو باقاعدہ درخواست دے کر اپنی زمین پر ناجائز قبضے اور تعمیراتی سامان کی چوری کے خلاف فوری انصاف فراہم کرنے کی اپیل کی ہے۔

درخواست کے مطابق راجہ توفیق کی ملکیتی زمین خسرہ نمبرز 7399، 7398، اور 7397 پر مشتمل ہے، جس پر انہوں نے چار دیواری تعمیر کر رکھی تھی اور مستقبل کی تعمیرات کے لیے بلاک، سیمنٹ، کنکریٹ سلیب، اینٹیں، اور آہنی گیٹ جیسا تعمیراتی سامان رکھا ہوا تھا۔

درخواست میں الزام لگایا گیا ہے کہ جمشید بھٹی ولد محمد اسلم، ساکن موہڑہ جاڑہ، نے اپنے چند نامعلوم ساتھیوں کے ہمراہ زبردستی زمین پر داخل ہو کر چار دیواری گرا دی، اور ناجائز قبضے کی کوشش کی۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ وہ تعمیراتی سامان — بلاک، سیمنٹ، اینٹیں، کنکریٹ کے پلر اور آہنی گیٹ — ٹریکٹر ٹرالی میں ڈال کر چوری کر کے لے گئے۔

راجہ توفیق نے پنجاب پولیس سے اپیل کی ہے کہ وہ فوری طور پر ملزمان کے خلاف قانونی کارروائی کرے اور چوری شدہ سامان برآمد کیا جائے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ چونکہ وہ بیرون ملک مقیم ہیں، اس لیے ایسے غیر قانونی اقدامات کے خلاف انہیں فوری اور مؤثر تحفظ فراہم کیا جانا چاہیے۔

اس واقعے کے بعد بیرون ملک مقیم دیگر پاکستانیوں میں بھی تشویش کی لہر دوڑ گئی ہے، جو اکثر اس قسم کی زمینوں پر قبضے اور غیر قانونی سرگرمیوں کا سامنا کرتے ہیں۔ کئی افراد نے حکومت سے مطالبہ کیا ہے کہ وہ اوورسیز پاکستانیوں کی جائیدادوں کے تحفظ کے لیے سخت اور مؤثر اقدامات کرے۔

London (Pothwar.com, Mohammad Naseer Raja – July 31, 2025):  An overseas Pakistani, Raja Taufiq, currently residing in England and originally from Moori Rajgan, Tehsil Gujar Khan, (under the jurisdiction of Police Station Jatli), has formally appealed to the Inspector General of Police, Punjab, Lahore, seeking justice over the illegal occupation of his land and the theft of construction material.

According to the written complaint, Mr. Taufiq owns land in Khasra numbers 7399, 7398, and 7397. He had constructed a boundary wall and had stored building materials on the property, including cement blocks, concrete slabs, bricks, and iron gates, for planned construction work.

The complaint alleges that Jamshaid Bhatti, son of Muhammad Aslam, a resident of Mohra Jarra, along with several unidentified accomplices, forcefully entered the property, demolished the boundary wall, and attempted to illegally occupy the land. The suspects also reportedly stole the stored construction material—including blocks, cement, bricks, concrete pillars, and an iron gate—by loading it onto a tractor-trolley and taking it away.

Mr. Taufiq has urged the Punjab Police to take immediate legal action against the accused and to recover the stolen construction materials. He emphasised that being overseas makes him particularly vulnerable to such unlawful acts and seeks protection of his property rights.

The incident has sparked concern among other overseas Pakistanis from the region, who frequently report similar issues involving land grabbing and unauthorised possession in their absence. Many are now urging the authorities to implement stricter measures to protect the properties of citizens living abroad.
