Japan/Kallar Syedan: Meeting Between Ambassador Abdul Hameed and Businessman Chaudhry Ghalib Hussain

جاپان/کلر سیداں (پوٹھوار ڈاٹ کوم — اکرام الحق قریشی | 28,جولائی، 2025):—جاپان اسلامک ٹرسٹ کے ڈائریکٹر اور کلرسیداں سے تعلق رکھنے والے معروف کاروباری چوہدری غالب حسین کی جاپان میں پاکستان کے نئے سفیر عبدالحمید سے ملاقات،پاکستانی برآمدات میں اضافے پر تبادلہ خیال کیا۔ اس موقع پر ٹریڈ کونسلر مس مدیحہ بھی موجود تھیں پاکستانی سفیر عبد الحمید نے کہا کہ سفارخانے اور پاکستانی کیمونٹی کی پہلی زمہ داری جاپان کے لیئے پاکستانی برآمدات میں اضافہ ہونی چاہیئے جب ہم سب مل کر اس پر کمربستہ ہو جائیں گے تو اللہ کی رہنمائی اور کامیابی بھی حاصل ہو گی

چوہدری غالب حسین نے انہیں بتایا کہ پاکستان کے معروف برانڈز کی مصنوعات کی جاپان میں کھپت کو ممکن بنانا زیادہ مشکل نہیں ہے یہاں کے بڑے سپراسٹوروں پر پاکستانی مصنوعات سے زرمبادلہ کمایا جا سکتا ہے پہلی بار حال ہی میں پاکستانی چونسہ آم کو یہاں متعارف کروایا گیا جس کے نتائج توقعات سے بھی زیادہ بہتر نکلے پاکستانی تازہ عام ہفتے میں تین چار بار جہاز کے ذریعے جاپان لائے جا رہے ہیں جنہیں جاپان میں بہت پسند کیا جا رھا یے ہم سب مل کر دیگر پاکستانی خوراک اور زرعی مصنوعات کو بھی جاپانی منڈیوں میں متعارف کروا سکتے ہیں

انہوں نے تجویز دی کہ پاکستانی مصنوعات کے ساتھ ساتھ ہمیں یہاں پاکستانی لیبر کے لیئے بھی کوششیں کرنی چائیے جس کے لیئے پاکستان میں جاپانی زبان کے ایسے مراکز کا قیام عمل میں لانا ہوگا جہاں ویزے کے حصول کے لیئے صرف سرٹیفکیٹ جاری نہ کیا جائے بلکہ وہاں جانے والے جاپانی زبان پر مکمل دسترس بھی رکھتے ہوں انہوں نے کہا کہ اس وقت جاپان میں موجود پاکستانیوں کی تعداد صرف تیس ہزار ہے جبکہ نیپال جیسے ملک کے اڑھائی لاکھ لوگ یہاں کام کرتے ہیں ہمیں یہاں پاکستانی مصنوعات اور پاکستانی لیبر کے لیئے سنجیدہ اقدامات کرنے ہوں گے پاکستانی سفیر عبد الحمید نے ان کے جذبات کو پاکستانیوں کی ترجمانی قرار دیا اور اس بابت رابطے مربوط کرنے کا بھی فیصلہ کیا گیا۔

Chaudhry Ghalib Hussain, a prominent businessman from Kallar Syedan and Director of the Japan Islamic Trust, met with Pakistan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Japan, Abdul Hameed, to discuss strategies for boosting Pakistani exports to Japan. Trade Counsellor Ms. Madiha was also present during the meeting.

Ambassador Abdul Hameed emphasised that the embassy and the Pakistani community’s top priority should be increasing Pakistan’s exports to Japan. “When we all join forces for this cause, with the guidance of Allah, success will surely follow,” he said.

Chaudhry Ghalib Hussain highlighted the strong potential for Pakistani brands in Japan, noting that local supermarkets offer a viable market for earning foreign exchange through Pakistani products. He pointed out the successful introduction of Pakistani Chaunsa mangoes in Japan, which exceeded expectations in popularity. Fresh mangoes are now being airlifted to Japan three to four times a week, receiving an enthusiastic response from Japanese consumers.

He further proposed that along with promoting exports, Pakistan should also focus on increasing its labour presence in Japan. He stressed the need to establish Japanese language centres in Pakistan that not only issue certificates for visa purposes but also ensure practical fluency in the language. Ghalib noted that while there are only 30,000 Pakistanis currently working in Japan, countries like Nepal have over 250,000 workers in the country. He called for serious efforts to enhance both Pakistan’s labour and product presence in the Japanese market.

Ambassador Abdul Hameed appreciated his concerns, stating that they reflect the sentiments of the broader Pakistani community. He also committed to taking concrete steps to strengthen communication and coordination on these issues.
